This video is so nostalgic for me! I grew up in and around Byron and it is so nice to see how you are enjoying it and the wildlife! Quick note- buying reduced is GREAT for food waste (like the best thing ever) however recycling when you are unsure if that item is recyclable is something to avoid. The recycling mantra goes "when in doubt, throw it out"!
@HollyGabrielle4 жыл бұрын
Darcie Anderson ah it’s a cool place, and the wildlife is the best part I think! And yes buying reduced food is so good!!!

Btw just a heads up, eating chia seeds without soaking them for a few hours before hand can be problematic for your stomach and also you can't absorb any of the omega 3s or most of the other nutrients without soaking. I like to soak them in water, lemon juice and honey or just coconut milk makes a nice pudding like consistency.
@HollyGabrielle4 жыл бұрын
Sam Nelson I usually soak them but the other day I was just like meh ... I know they’re not as beneficial dry (as you said) but ... maybe it was just for the aesthetic then lol 😬😅

Not everyone struggles with digesting big amount of veg and fruits. I don't for instance, I can eat fruits and veggies all day for weeks (cook and raw) and I won't have any digestive issues. Your body is probably telling you that you need to eat more fats and protein, particularly with all the exercise you're doing. Fruit and veg will fill you up for a while, but there aren't a lot of macronutrients at all in fruit and veg,
