I herd from some friends that own older rabbits that using vet bed fleece with two layers of vet bed helps with the rabbits getting up and down when they have arthritis

shes getting older and has bad arthritis and other medical concerns so she moved her to a smaller, but large enuf to surpass the minimum recommended rabbit measurements, more controlled environment/area to just keep an eye on her.

I watched the video because of the bunnies. I have 2 bunnies. I also live with chronic illnesses (including POTs, dysautonomia). I got my first bunny last Nov and my sec one this year in March. Ricky has been fixed and we are waiting for Lucy to get cleared by vet to be fix. Your bunnies are very cute.

Violet Walter ok first is your bunny spayed or neutered that really helps xD if your bunnys are to young then try to keep them separate if your bunnys are doing that then you can clean it up and soon they will stop if they don’t then I will give you more information

I got a cat box that has a top pan with holes (probably for clump litter). I put a wee wee pad on the bottom with some litter and the pan with the holes on top. Then, I put a tiny bit of litter and some hay. She doesn't kick the litter out anymore!! The litter box is from PetSmart for around $20.

Try using a covered litter box, I have a digger as well and this made a big difference. Also spaying and neutering helps if you haven't done that yet?

Don’t pick up your rabbit a lot only do it when essential. Rabbits don’t like to be picked up and when they do some will get mad at you and since they don’t want to be picked up again they will run from you.

Would you say a rabbit is a good pet for someone with POTS who can’t have cats and dogs but wants an animal that will still be about as clean as a cat? (Guinea pugs have also been considered, but we want whatever will take the least amount of energy for when there are tougher days and piggies’ pens needs SO much cleaning.)
