Could i use a dog nail clipper hecause i cant get a cat nail clipper where i am

Rabbits can be litter-trained without neutering. Mine 2 are smart though. Females Juno (brown cinnamon) and Ilya (grey chinchilla) understand to do the peeing in the toilet box (made by me). As to pooping they target the toilet but are less accurate as to where to leave a couple of dungs. I don't mind that much as well as long as they pee in the toilet which they usually do. They choose their locations which are upon analysis, safe spots such as on wood chip substrate. Each his own I guess but I abandoned the practice of neutering which I had done once. It made me think.

currently bonding mine right now in a cardboard box. the new bun is 3 yrs old and has never interacted with any other bunny (besides in a litter). she is very shy and timid so she's giving off submissive energy to my other bun who is a male. he keeps humping her and she doesn't fight back or do anything except "go into her shell." there have been moments where the male would lay next to her, but as soon as she lifts her head up, he instantly goes to hump her. reallllly hope this works out.

Ya I new to this I adopted a bunny three days ago he neutered 3 years old but he keeps taking out all this litter box and putting on the floor and peeing there but I do have potty pads down . So I’m going to try different litter and box because I have the news for litter and a corner box which she said they don’t like .

I am currently bonding my two buns! Fluffy is a male, and Coco is a female. They have a 2-3 year age gap, so I was a bit worried, but I noticed that Coco doesn’t see fluffy(who is smaller) as a threat, and on day three, both of them groomed each other! We only did 40 minutes of bonding in total during the 3 days and I think it is so great! I do know that it can all change in a snap, but it’s going well (for now) Thank you so much @101Rabbits I watched all ur vids on bonding!

As an animal owner myself, one dog, eight guinea pigs and four rabbits. What I have learned and come to terms with is that I need to put them first, I’m super grateful for all vets that make advances in medical procedures. But there comes a time when the animals suffering needs to be put before, the humans need to keep them going and alive. I’ve had horrific stuff happen as I ran back and forth to vets, and we did this and that to keep them going. Then at the end of the day one died on the table and one was put to sleep. My guilt still to this day is enormous, I made these animals suffer to try keep them alive. From now on I will never do that, yes I will treat small easy to get over issues, I have one guinea pig with arthritis so we treat daily. Yesterday at the vets for rabbit vaccinations they found a lump at the base of our lop ear right ear, this is doing nothing to her at the moment but he said a op will probably be needed. It’s aggressive and takes a lot away (fxxxxxg humans did this), as much as I love this bunny I will not put her through that.

Even though I know how this is terrifying for the rabbit and the groomer (I watch my rabbits' mouths carefully when trimming and brushing, even though they've never bit or been aggressive with me during grooming), I can't help but think that her grunts, growls, and lunges are so cute!

I have a cottontail who is super friendly when I first met him he didnt even run from me.but i have a house rabbit who is very territorial and aggressive he has patterns that makes him a house rabbit my house rabbit even tried to bite the cottontail but my sister stopped him and bit her instead....how does that work when cottontails are a wild breed????

Your bunny is not near 5% aggressive as ours. She's sweet but hate when picked up, let alone try to touch her paws... We might take her to a vet or groomer

Someone please help me. I have two holland lops that are 6 months old girls and sisters. They have shown no signs of aggression towards each other until one of them starting chasing the other and trying to mount her, but the other runs away. Should I separate them even though they aren’t biting? I’m worried the might get more aggressive when I’m not around and I don’t want either getting hurt

Question for you! I have a XL living world cage. Should I put shavings in the bottom of it or keep the shavings just for the litter box? It's a plastic base...I don't mind removing fleece to wash it if there are pee accidents. Would that be a good idea? I want these 2 to be comfortable.
