Hi! I love your videos! After hearing you give the two options, the idea of numbering each devotional 1 through 365 came to mind. That way it could lose the added pressure that dates possibly give but still incorporate the idea that there is a devotional for everyday of the year! 😊

I love the dated ones personally because then it doesn’t feel like just a ‘regular’ book. It’s fun for me to randomly flip to the date and see how God can use it specifically for that day

I liked dated ones! I feel like it provides a structure and makes it easier to make devotional time a habit. There's also no rule that says you have to follow the dates, so you can still do whatever day you actually want- but I feel like they are good to have! Cannot wait to see the new book ☺

Both ways have their pros, but I think I prefer the one with the dates. One, it's more structured and organized. Two, you can make notes to the specific date and a year later see how the same words can have different impression on you, depending on your current life situation. Can't wait for the book! ❤️

i love devotions both ways, but the one i’m currently doing is where it has the actual date for 365 days and i’m loving it!!! it makes it where i don’t have to fret about what i want to read, but i find that just lets me come into my Jesus time with a more open heart because of not having to think about what to read, especially in this season i’m in 🤍✨☺️ but either would be lovely, especially coming from your heart!!! much love!! cannot wait for it to release, and as always the video was lovely!!!! 🤗

Good Morning, I usually read in order but before none dated. It feels less rigid and if you should have a busy day and get one day behind it feels like less pressure that you need to catch up. I prefer having them as "day one," "day two," and so on rather than "Jan 1," "Jan 2," and so on. I like it that way because it puts less pressure on yourself if you miss a day. Also it bothers me to start a book in the middle if I did not start on January 1st. I think I prefer no date because it’s less discouraging if you can’t keep up with every single day. Nondated is more suitable for flexibility for taking breaks or even taking more than a year if needed, but even if you choose dated, people can still make it work for whatever they do. It is so sweet that you care to get input! You have a ton of work on your shoulders! I think after seeing all the work we know went into it, we can appreciate the book even more when it comes out ☺️ best of luck!

I'm reading a book right now that is a 'once a day' and it's dated and it helps me keep track of where I am - you don't even need a bookmark really! There's nothing worse than being tired and walking into your room and realizing you didn't put the bedding on lol (actually there is one thing worse...when you forget to put your child's bedding on and they're tired...cause if you miss that window, it's over for you haha).

Hey Cambria! First off I am so excited, second I think the non-date is such a better idea because a lot of time people get wrapped up in oh I missed a day and feeling like they have to start over or if it’s based on a certain date trying to play catch up. I am struggling right now with a Bible study book the specifically dated for each day this month leading to Easter and feeling guilty. But I also know there are others like me who struggle with this. Love you and can’t wait either way you choose.

In terms of devotionals, I recently did one that worked week by week (say from day 1-7 instead of dates as each "week" had a theme) that was really nice. But otherwise I really don't usually even stick to the dates if there are any in my devotionals xx

Do no dates but have a space in corner for us to write the date that we read it on. That way some can go in chronological order from page 1 to 365 and the date will symbolize that they have already read it. It will also serve the people (like me) who prefer the random element of just picking a page. Me writing the date will let me know I completed the page as well.

Ahhhh Cambria, every time I read your emails or watch your videos, I know it is truly God’s work shining through you to touch me and SO many other people as well! I have struggled with perfectionism basically my whole life. And I am in a season of trying to overcome that. I am trying to remind myself that being perfect never has to be the goal… because just like you said, when we want to be perfect, things don’t always necessarily get done. So yes and amen to just showing up! Because that is when we truly shine. I loved this video. I truly did. I love seeing behind the scenes of your work.
