It’s reassuring to know you tubers are actually real just like us! Good days and bad. Sometimes social media only gives us “everything is perfect vibes” which honestly is never the case, tends to make us feel a little low. Karen, this video really spoke to me on self love. A little of my backstory, I am the first of 5 children. Parents were both unhappy, father was very prominent doctor, isn’t that how always is! After a knock down divorce of my parents, our father disowned 3 of the 5 kids, thinking they might share any of the funds, never happened. Mother was and is your classic narcissist and refuses to speak to any of her grown kids, except one. Well for years, the 3 disowned, including me, healed our hearts and moved on our roads of life. I always offered an olive branch to one of my disowned sisters, but for the past 10 years, refuses any contact with me. I always had sadness in my heart, but last year, I had a real break through, that it is her loss, if she ever breaks out of her unhappiness/anger I of course will be happy for her, But I don’t think about what could be, I am content and have created a Happy Heart for myself. As you said, so many people these days are clueless as to what so many of us are dealing with in our personal lives. Having gone through a very traumatic time almost 2 yrs. ago with a family member really threw me for a loop. On top of that, a year ago, I ended up in the hospital for almost 4 months with several health issues. I did have tons of support and prayers which I truly believe helped to heal me!!! Karen, I have been watching youtube channels since mid 2020 ~ occupied my time ~ I subscribed to many channels of various content...the last year or so, I weeded quite a few channels out. For no particular reason other than maybe not just the right fit for me...younger KZbinrs/content/style for my age, etc. I found your channel during 2020 ~ and quickly knew the content of 2 Orchids channel was a right fit for me. I don't comment often on many channels but I do sometimes scroll through the comments to read ~ some of the comments make me cringe. I guess I don't have thick enough skin or the temperament ;) to be a KZbinr. You stay true to who you are...and Lauren too. Everyone of us have a boat load of "stuff" in our lives ~ because we smile every day, doesn't mean life is butterflies and unicorns. I so feel same about other collagen. I thought something wrong with me. People say oh it blends right in and can’t taste in coffee. I always thought yuck.🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️😊. I am going to try this one. I have same issues you discussed and need more fiber. The dressing recipe sounds good. I can sense you have a lot of inner emotions going on. Not sure what has happened with people and compassion or even manners anywhere. Even at a store I go excuse me or use manners and they look like what did you say…. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️😳 Thanks for sharing. I’ve taken collagen tablets for quite awhile and heard powdered collagen was more effective. I tried the powdered collagen and developed hives. I went to the doctor because I’ve never had hives but had a rash on the right side of my waist. The nurse practitioner asked me about new food or medication, and when I said powdered collagen she said I might be allergic to something in the product. She gave me a script for a cream and after applying it more than 80% of the rash disappeared the first day. So I’m hesitant to try powdered collagen and will continue with the tablets I’ve bought from Costco.

It’s hard when adult children are going through things - a kiss no longer heals their hurts. Praying it all works out for all.
