I am from Texas and my little family just went to Austin this past weekend. We also love to find good places to eat when we travel. We visited “The Paperboy” restaurant close to downtown and it was great! Hope it’s on your list to try. Also, some of our friends suggested “Summer Moon” for coffee but we were not able to make it. While visiting the DFW area, the Stockyards are a good place to visit :) The Magnolia Market in Waco is so fun! I can’t wait to watch your Texas video!

My husband and I went to Texas in October. Best vacation in along time! The scenery is so beautiful. We actually stayed in Waco. Near the silos it seemed a bit sketchy, but we stayed at the nicest Holiday Inn Express near the interstate on the Austin side of Waco rather than the Dallas side. We didn’t go to Dallas at all, but we loved Waco and Austin and the hill country and Fort Worth. please vlog this trip. Oh. The Texas Ranger museum in Waco is nice. Texas is just a great state. We also went to Oklahoma and my husband and I already talking about going back to Oklahoma and possibly parts of Texas soon.

OMG…you will love AUSTIN, Waco and Dallas. I’m from Puerto Rico, moved to Dallas, TX back in 2015. Came to Austin for a weekend, never went back to Dallas. Met and married El Amor de Mi Vida here in Austin. There’re so many amazing place here to visit, gorgeous landscapes/skies, delicious food, kind and lovely people around. Hey, one good trick to deal with the dog barking is to whisper at Palmer when he barks. Dogs bark to mimic your talking so if you whisper they will use that volume as well.

I live in the Austin area out in the Hill Country at Lake Travis. You must partake the cliffside views on the outdoor tiered decking at The Oasis Restaurant and have a Perfect Margarita. It is a casual place that is breathtaking! There is also dancing at the Starlight Terrace to enjoy there, too. Have fun on your trip. 😀

Also, the Suspension Bridge, "The Circle" which is the confluence of three major cattle trails (and where Chip and Jo's restaurant is), the beautiful Baylor Campus, the river walk on the Brazos... I’ve lived in Texas all my life. 27 years I live in a suburb of Dallas. If you have time try to get a reservation at magnolia table for lunch. It’s chip and Jo’s restaurant and they also have a on site coffee shop. Make sure you take some pictures at the famous murals in Austin. You can find a list on goggle of famous murals (some websites have maps on how to get there and the addresses! Most of the murals are all within walking distance of each other! Make sure you go and get some coffee at Jo’s coffee! It’s AMAZING. Also eat at el arroyo (they are known for their famous funny signs but the food is AMAZING!!!) if you are also looking for something to do that’s adventurous you can kayak on the lady bird lake at silkier park. A company called rowing dock offers kayak and canoe rentals (my boyfriend went at sunset and it was beautiful) the water is so clear you can see to the bottom of the river!

tripadvisor has a really good way to plan your trips as well- im using it for planning my europe trip right now. you just add all of the places you wish to visit (including restaurants etc) and when you view your trip on a map, it will have everything pop up with direct links to the trip advisor pages. its really handy. you can also save all of your trips on your account, so you can look back on them in the future. i feel like it may be easier than google trips - check it out if you want! edit: bonus is that when you look at something on trip advisor (ie a nice restaurant), it will also tell you what attractions are nearby, so it makes it really easy to find new things to visit! can you tell that i've really enjoyed trip advisor?? lol
