That quiet time as an introvert is essential. I'm a teacher & I'll often lock myself in the classroom or go sit in a park at lunchtime to decompress and prepare myself for the coming session. I don't think people realise just how exhausting human interaction that constantly needs attention can be for an introvert. I am incredibly grateful for my quiet time and walks in nature to calm my soul and feel the grass under my feet.

I'm the fifth of seven children. Now 63, I am SO aware of how blessed I was to have the childhood that I did. We weren't homeschooled, we went to a small country school (there were 12 in my class), but other than that watching your videos is like a walk down memory lane. I am twice blessed, being able to 'relive' my own wonderful childhood, and knowing that there are other children being just as blessed. Well done, Mom!!!

Thank you for another great video! You are so right about needing a break during the day. I have children similar ages as yours, and when my youngest goes down for a nap, I practically run out to the garden just to feel then fresh air and sunshine on my face, to “check-out” from my chores for a moment, and just enjoy some time in my garden and with God. “The kiss of the sun for pardon, The song of the birds for mirth, One is nearer God’s Heart in a garden Than anywhere else on earth.”

I just stumbled across your video whilst researching about home schooling and I'm so happy I did! I actually feel so emotional watching this, because this kind of lifestyle isn't so common anymore, sadly.... Its a beautiful thing to watch. We have just started to home school our 3 kids and moved from Europe to live abroad where there's more space and a better lifestyle. Not as much convenience, which I'm actually loving. It is truly beautiful to see a family with more than 1 child, praying, wearing modest clothing, having a strong family bond. I myself am a Muslim and our lifestyle is so similar to yours, its just really lovely to see this especially this day and age. Nowadays, people who practice their religion are looked at as weird, especially in the west, but our religion says that as time progresses, believers will become like strangers to those who don't believe, so glad tidings to the strangers. Much love ❤️

Your channel was suggested to me tonight! You have an absolutely beautiful and amazing family! Your children are so sweet and considerate. It was a joy watching your family! I live in NC, and also have seven children. One thing that has helped me with one on one time- is a monthly thing I made up called “special day” fortunately this was easy as my Children were born on different numeral days of the month (15, 28, 18, 2, 24, 26,17) each month the child who’s birthday falls on that specific day gets to stay up an hour later, and do something with me of their choosing- play games or paint/color/read do a craft etc.. it really helped my relationships with my children when one on one time is impossible during the day.

I have to say, you are such a great mamma, and I love the way you are teaching one son that he is part of your being while you teach the other. When my younger daughter was 8, I decided I just wasn't ready to be done having babies, and after a miscarriage, I had a beautiful baby boy we named Benjamin, then 2 1/2 years later came Hannah. I made it a point to do the same as you did with them. Whenever I sat down with her to nurse, I always asked Benjamin to sit with us if he wanted-and he always had a book... He never, and to this day ever showed an ounce of jealousy to Hannah. It was something I was very concerned about because he was the apple of every one's eye and had a lot of attention. I think it made a huge difference to feel that there was enough love for both. One thing I especially am so proud of you for is taking care of your needs, because doing so really will help you be there in a better place for your babies. 💕🦋

Thank you for your video. We too have well water that is very hard, I would recommend installing a water softener system, this will help with the life span of your appliances. Bosch also makes a dishwasher specific for hard water, it has it’s own water softener built in you just add salt. I am not aware of any brand of dishwasher that can withstand hard water for very long. Without a softener system of some kind, most of the time the damage to the dishwasher is just the water valve. Which you can replace without needing to replace the whole dishwasher. Have a blessed day!

Thank you for taking the time to make this. I am 24 with three boys 6, 4 & 7-months, and it always seems so impossible to find the time for everything I need to do, even basic things like dishes and floor pick up, much less all the homesteading things! And now that we're entering homeschool years it seems like an even bigger mountain. I want to have several more children but I am also an introvert! Anyway, it was so soothing and encouraging to watch you go through your day, doing so many of the same things that I do, but with the help of older children in making things good & orderly. I know you probably have harder days, but it's hopeful and inspiring. Thank you.

This is amazing. Watched this out of curiosity. This woman is a cook, gardener, food prepper, teacher, curriculum preparer, reader, cleaner, mother to range of ages, wife, exercising, animal owner. Any one of those things is a big job on their own and full of skills people pay for (I've done most of those as paid or barter jobs - nanny, gardener, animal care, food prep, cleaning...). And I bet she sews too. That's a huge amount of responsibility each day. For zero pay except of course the pay is the whole household and family taken care of, everyone very well-fed, and tons of quality time with kids. Anyone who thinks a stay-at-home mom especially this style of it isn't hard work is super ignorant and maybe should watch this video. It does leave me wondering how someone could manage all that if they weren't as physically and emotionally able-bodied or got sick or injured. I wonder if she does all this work on the weekends too and if there's enough chances for them all to socialize outside the family and go on outings too. I wish this hard-working family all the best. That was the first time I saw a chick hatch!!!
