I think back in the day, that breakfast was actually millet and red lentils, flavoured with blueberries, cocoa powder and tahini. An extremely nutritious way to start the day!

Lovely! I wish I could visit New Zealand one day! One question: Did you have a minimalist wedding? I'm really interested in simple but festive and fun weddings. I'd like to know :)

It’s beautiful! We actually ended up not having a wedding. I also love minimalist and simple events and researched an eco friendly wedding for quite some time. But in the end we decided it was not worth the effort given that we didn’t have that many people we wanted to invite :)

Hello! You seem like an awesome couple! I'm looking into traveling to New Zealand (first time leaving the US) and I'll be traveling alone which is super nerve-wracking as is. Looking for some local vegans to show me around. Any interest?

Aw thanks so much! I've left NZ, but in general it's super safe and easy to travel. If you go to the South Island and stay in backpacker's/motels you'll find lots of friends! And bonus is that everyone speaks English :D

@@alexrichardson5594 Auckland has a vegan market run by my friend! It's called The Shed Collective, so if you're there check it out :) North Island is warmer but there is way less to do if you like nature, in my opinion :)

That's awesome! I'm going to be there from February 9th to the 17th. So probably like 6 full days to actually explore. Do you think I'd have enough time to see a little bit of the Northern Island then go South? I'm definitely a nature guy so I want to see the South for sure but, I'm assuming the North will have more vegan friendly restaurants? I was thinking about doing an Airbnb where I live with someone during the visit but, what is backpackers motels? Specific motels for travelers or just motels in general? And are they clean? Because in the US motels are pretty nasty hahaha. And I'm a bit of a clean freak with OCD hahaha. Thank you for all the help! @@SagaJohanna
