You probably won't see this, but in case you do; please realise that you have a very big social life compared to most people. This means that not every fresher is having this much fun or immediately connects with the right people during the first few weeks. I, myself, am in my final year of college and only felt like I truly belonged to a good friendgroup at the start of the second year. So also for those of you who are watching this and are feeling like you do not (yet) have this many friends: that is okay. You are okay. Sometimes it takes time to settle. And maybe you are in a friendgroup now but you will be in a different one in a few months and that is all okay. Just stay open-minded and don't be too hard on yourself. Good luck, you can do this!

I can't wait for the first finals week vlog. My freshman year in college on the last day of finals week I started studying at 7:00 pm, ordered pizza at 2:00 am, fell asleep at 5:30 am, woke up at 6:30am, studied for another 30 minutes and then proceed to take an 8:00am and 11:00am final. Somehow I survived.

To everyone who is saying that the twins are saying “this is the college kid life” too much (or something along those lines), try to understand that there’s a lot of smaller clips taken at different times. To them, it might seem like they’ve only said the phrase a few times (in each clip), but to us, when we watched the whole video, the phrases added up to a lot. You guys also have to understand they can’t just cut that part out or they’d be losing a larger portion of the video. They say the phrases in the middle of a lot of stuff where it can’t be cut out.

All these people saying "college isn't like that"....uh, it was for ME! I stayed up late with friends, ate crappy food, took midnight walks to the donut shop, mud sliding on the field during the rain.... I had a blast all 4 years. It is what you make of it. I also have to add that I had a little too much fun freshmen year because my grades weren't great. I had to buckle down a little more sophomore year, but I loved my college experience! I'm an "old" married mom with a baby now, so it makes me happy to know some kids are still living the life in college. I can tell you now, there truly is nothing else like it.

I understand that they are freshmen and they are excited about all the new experiences, but I hope they don't only show the good times in college and them hanging with friends. I think it would be better to show all of the experiences, because trust pretty much everyone has at least one emotional break down during college. It's hard work and sometimes you have to miss out on the fun stuff to really focus on your grades. But all the hard work is what makes it so much more rewarding in the end, knowing that you did it and you now have something to show for it. I'm not hating on the girls at all, just hope they don't give their viewers a complete false sense of what college is.

I just graduated with my bachelor's in electrical engineering this past May, and I can honestly say that my four years at college were some of the best years of my life! Hey girl💁🏽‍♀️ It’s not hate on them. You’re a freshman as well. And I’m a 4th year. I understood both sides of the excitement and the struggle because I’ve experienced it already. I think what everyone is trying to say that they wish they would have waited a little longer to post of video like this because there is more to it that what they only experienced so far, and labeling it as college lifestyle when its actually not. Also, if more than one person is saying the same thing, odds are that it’s true. If anything, most people (like myself) are super excited for all of their accomplishments, but it doesn’t mean that they can’t learn from a minor misunderstanding. Overall, I am excited for them to chase their dreams and continue to be smart educated women ☺️

Their experiences should be half way through the first semester. Not the first few weeks. Ofcourse everyone has their own experience in college but if they are going to make a video about it they should at least be done with their first semester. Only then can you say that it is what college life is really like. Also, you can not say people are just mad that Brooklyn and Bailey are enjoying and having a great time. They are simply letting others know that it isn’t always fun and games going to college while Brooklyn and Bailey are showing the better side of college. Drinking game- take a shot every time they say the word “college” 🍻 I loved this video. I think many people are getting butt-hurt because the way Brooklyn and Bailey are talking about college. They’re saying everything very matter-of-fact as if every college student has the same experience, which of course is no where near the truth. I’m in my senior year of college and never once had any similar situations as these two have showcased, but I think if they would’ve prefaced with something along the lines of “this is OUR college experience SO FAR” it would have helped even the playing field. Because even their own opinions and perception of college will change from semester to semester and year to year. Either way, I’m glad they’re having a good first month in school and interested to see how their views of college are shaped through their own personal experiences.

I think this is honestly a super cute video! I’m also going to be a freshman this year and I know that my first few weeks will likely be exactly like this, exploring everything there is to do on campus, hanging out and making friends, etc. I understand that this isn’t everyone’s experience in college and I know that this isn’t their experience every day in college either. But the video is showing a singular average day in the life of college freshman. And if that’s their real perspective, that’s their real perspective, and people should respect that. Everyone’s experience is obviously different, but that doesn’t mean that their experience is “wrong” or “not accurate” because that is literally the life they are living, it’s accurate and real to them. I think they did a great job of showing themselves both going to classes, having sleepovers, doing their homework, etc!

I’ve watched you girls for years, and I can’t believe you’re already in college! I’m currently a sophomore in college and will be a junior in a few months, and let me tell you. I had many expectations for college. I was extremely nervous about it at first because I went to a small private school all my life before I graduated high school. Make lots of friends , study hard, and have fun, but keep in mind that your health comes first. Don’t stress. It’ll all work out. Keep going even if you feel you have no motivation. I wish the best of luck to both of you and to every student whether you’re a freshman in high school or college.

This is me currently. I work a part time job (which they work me like a full time job) and they work me long hours and then I have college on Tuesdays the whole day, Thursdays half the day, and one class on Monday. I also have to commute 30-40 minutes to my college lol. So I don't even bother with make up or caring about what I look like anymore. I basically look like a hobo 24/7 lmao. I have also had to buy my books out of my own pocket and my mom has had to help me because I was in between jobs and i was broke asf.

Omg I remember when I was in college, I would have early morning classes from like 7 - 12 and from there go straight to work until like 5. After that I would either go home and do homework all night or three times a week I was taking dance lessons and wouldn't get home until like 10 and still have to get my homework done. I barely had a social life unless I was seeing my dance friends lol

Jul3s_xx most colleges require you to take a math placement test so that they can place you in a math class, it doesn’t matter what math class you graduated with in high school unless you took the AP calc exam and got a 4 of 5. I graduated with pre-calc in high school but I have to take college algebra and trigonometry for my pre-nursing program, it kinda sucks though 😩

Tip for Brooklyn: college guys are more confident because they think in college it's easier to.... ya know. Be super careful and I would encourage not even doing casual dates unless you. Italy know someone in some kind of social setting (like a friend group, study group, club, coffee/hot cocoa between mutual classes). Many girls who go to Christian/catholic/religious schools get caught up in the idea that they are safe from those things and they guys at their school aren't like that, but trust me, they are. I know you are probably smart enough to know that, but lots of girls can be really intelligent but still naive about that kind of stuff.
