I've been living single rv life for almost a year and I LOVE it!!! Some advice, give yourself some grace...you'll change things over and over again! I did take my table out and I LOVE the space now (I'll send a Pic if I'm able) Just be kind to yourselves as you learn. BTW, I put seasonal clothes in "space bags" in my under-bed storage. Good luck, you've got this!

Did you ever find baskets for the space above your bed? Maybe baskets for small things like socks, underwear? Measure the space under your bed and get shallow containers with or without lids to use for your clothes under the bed? I’m sure you’ll figure it out.

I just recently found your channel and I’m so glad I did! You are so easy to watch and so relatable! We don’t have a kitchen table either. We always eat in the living room and I had no counter space in my kitchen, so we ditched the table for an island with lots of storage. We have stools on one side so there’s still seating, but it works so much better for us! You are doing such a great job and I really enjoy your videos!

Hi Tam! Your enthusiasm is infectious ~ I’ve finished cleaning out my storage & am slowly but surely getting things condensed in my apartment! Home is a better place to be now! Keep going girl! 🤗

Your RV always looks Great! You need to slow down and have you some you time while Winston and Luke are not home. ❤ We have a RV for camping and storage beside the bed are so hard to store stuff. It’s so hard to reach the back. We use our under storage bed for blankets and extra sheets or anything we might need. Love your RV it’s Beautiful!!! Love your videos! You all take care.❤❤❤❤😊

I watched one you tuber, they live full time in their rv as well. They took their bed put all together and put in an adjustable bed and during the day they keep it in the upright position and it takes up less room in the bedroom and during the day it's like a daybed of sorts.

14:30 i totally downsized my clothing...i have a rectangle laundry basket of summer clothes and a basket of winter clothes...3 summer pj's and 3 winter pj's..under clothes, hoodies/sweaters hang on the back of my door on a rack from the dollartree. 3 summer shoes, 2 winter uggs, 2 tennis shoes. i keep my winter/summer hats/gloves in a reusable bag that hangs on my bedpost.

You should get one of those long handled grippers to get stuff in the back of your storage in your bedroom. I thought we were going to lose you there for a minute as you were climbing in there. lol I hope Winston has a wonderful school year. You're doing awesome with the move. I admit I was worried about you when you first talked about it. You are proof that you can adjust and adapt while still taking care of yourself!

Thank you so much for the morning motivation. I was having a hard time getting going this morning but after watching your video, I'm off the couch, sheers in the washer and cleaning out the fridge. Your RV looks great and so glad you are enjoying it. Wishing you a fantastic day 🌞

Theres under the bed containers on wheels or not...Just measure frame to floor.. Y'all getting there, it takes time...Some beds lift with space for storage, there real nice...Storage is a premium...

As a former full time RV’er I would not lose the table. As Winston gets older he will need more space to sprawl out to do homework and eat. We used to use the large “under the bed” plastic containers for our seasonal clothes. I think it fit 3, and we just put the lids underneath them, that way it kept the clothes contained for each person and was divided.

I told you in one of your first “RV Life” vlogs about the rule of 3, and that by the time Winston went back to school, you’d be settled in to your new home! I know you’re still trying to figure out little organizational things, but for the most part, you seem setttled! You can see it in your face that you are more content. And especially now that you’re going to get some “you” time, you’ll feel back to normal. ❤love from south TX!

You know what? You need to slow down Tamara and give yourself some “self time”. Not everything needs to be regimented. This RV is a new challenge, you are handling it well, please take more time for yourself and your well being. Don’t burn yourself out.

for the clothing situation, try some storage bags for off season clothes under the bed, or keep the out of season clothes in the suitcases and use fabric storage cubes for under the bed for clothes you are using for the current season. Hope this idea helps somewhat.

I can relate to making an RV feel like home. We cut our table off the wall. Cut enough off to put a bench under the window that had storage. Then removed the two benches on the side of the table. Under the bed, we use the collapsable square storage bins for our clothes. Look for school locker shelves for the two small closets in your room. Ever thought about painting your interior? Maybe a rug?get some dollar tree wire shelves for under kitchen sink.

Even just taking that part of the dinette & recliner out made it seem so much roomier! I agree about putting little touches to make it feel more homey. You are finding what works best for you & your family. I'm so happy to see you seeming so much less stressed & happier! I took love if I can have my windows open & get fresh air. It just changes my whole mood. I love Fall. So enjoy your videos & watching your RV/tiny home life

What about taking out that other bench and keeping one chair on that side and on the window side you could have a shelf or cupboard storage. Maybe having some totes under the bed that are just open and one for you and one for your husband. I am not sure you could fit two side by side, but you would know that 😄. Even in a house you need to change things to make things for functional. Great video it was lots of fun because I love love cleaning videos, well I love cleaning there is something very satisfying about things when they are clean 😅….yeah I drive my family nuts with my cleaning 🤣🤣. Your upcoming cooking video sounds fun, because I definitely need motivation and ideas. Thanks Tamara ❣️❣️ P.S. i think your sound was off near the end lol, it reminded me of my husband’s dubbed shows lol 😂. I guess that happens sometimes, idk why it happens maybe, yeah Idk lol. Can’t wait for your cooking video 😁✌️

Our elementary school just put in quart of mile track me an my husband we walk around it try get 4 laps in to make a mile. But we have a little one that is 3 so I push her in the stroller but some times it takes for ever to get home with her. But we were very grateful that the school put in the track for the kids. At our old house they also had a track I was pregnant with my first I loved walking in that neighborhood it was so quiet an hardly any cars. When I get stress out at my house now with two kids I take them on walks something about walking calms me down. Hope you're son liking school. I have 1st grade an almost preschooler starting in September. I'm not ready yet for my baby to be in preschool but she needs the social life to help her talk she has delay speech so I'm kind of excited for her.

Have you thought about taking the bench seats out of Winstons room. The you could fit a tall dresser in there. The you could but a thin end table with drawers or a cube with bins next to the sofa for extra storage. If you dont eat at or use the table remove it. You can always get a foldable table for when you want to use a table. Also under the sink you may have to make your own shelves (probably wont be able to buy the size you need) that will double the under sink storage. Make the space work for you. Glad you are enjoying rv living. ❤

Suggestion: with the way your tv is set up why not swap the recliners over to where the dining table is that way you are "looking" at the tv at a better angle. and then use the other area as storage and maybe put in a bench and see if a fold up table would work in that area instead of something permanent.?
