Yes, it's for a whole month. We usually just have a big breakfast and dinner which I think makes the caloric intake a little less than normal overall.

Depends, there’s mixed mosques but with segregated areas for men and women to pray, I’ve gone to Mecca and Medina and the Two Holy Mosques are open for both genders. Some mosques are only open for men though
