I spent the last two years working on my recovery and staying clean. I don't know if Ill ever be able to go to college but I have been reading a lot of books on science. I'm not a scientist but I do a lot of mechanic work at my boyfriend's shop so I like to learn about electricity. Women like you inspire me so much! Thank you for posting videos Stephanie much love

you CAN go to College! One thing about the American education system (I'm outside the US) is that there are lots of provisions for those getting started on college education "late", or from different backgrounds. "Non-traditional" students - it's its own category. This is 3 years after the fact - I'd love to hear where your're at now. Even if you haven't yet started college, you still CAN get to that point. Peace!

With a background in biology I'm hoping it opens up doors for me to do research on the female reproductive system! I'm thinking I want to do work with seeing how diet affects periods, female hormones, etc. So it's really cool to see someone else focusing on the reproductive system with a microbiology background. And someone who's super into lifting as well! I can honestly say getting into lifting+nutrition saved my life. Yay for smart strong ladies

Geraldo Medrano your hair should be back. I don't always follow this rule myself but my hair isn't as long as hers and her hair fell into the buffer. She still would have looked cute with a bun. As a scientist myself (PhD candidate), I'm watching this and I'm like 😒. Again. I'm surprised that she was even allowed a phone or a video recorder in the lab as health and safety dept would be on her ass if they saw all of this. But congrats on her accomplishments though. She recently defended and i always love seeing women doing great things.

No not necessarily, they usually stress us to put our hair up more in my chemistry labs due to the toxic chemicals and how flammable they can be, but in my biology labs it's not as stressed. So eh, She was mostly looking at her cells and observing them so I think it was ok.

Great video! What you are doing is groundbreaking and vital research. My brother is a Ph.D. student in Australia studying BioChemistry and he does TB and Prostrate cancer research! I can totally relate to what you're doing (and talking about) since it's what he talks about to me most of the time. The medical and bio industry is a great industry. I love working in Healthcare IT and I support a TON of data/research initiatives for various health organizations, and states. Very important work that you do. I should definitely produce another more detailed (and in-depth) 'a day in the life video of a data engineer' and share my experience on my KZbin channel.

Therefor i really enjoy your instastories in the lab. Seeing how you use methods i only heared of and workin on cellcutures under the clean bench and so on. Really exciting cause i learned some of these working methods at the university but seeing you working on a projekt from the begining till the end is really exciting. in my freetime i also like to ork out and work in a local gym. Thats how i discovered Jeff first. I really enjoy his informative videos where he is refering to science articels about reasearches on training optimizing. All in all i really like to see you boths life and compare it to my own or learn from it. Thanks for that to you both :) have a nice day!

When scientists working on cancer research eat a cancer promoting diet... People have a huge need to complicate things, even when there is a very simple answer to them. Instead of trying to treat disease, we should prevent it. Solution: Ask T. Colin Cambell, Phd, Neil Barnard, MD or John McDougall, MD... just to name a few that are actually on top of these things.

I'm in high school right now doing synthetic biology research with a focus in solving supercoiling through the high school iGEM program. (My team got a silver medal) I also do solar energy research to find a good catalyst in both HER and OER. My main focus is in astrophysical research to find pulsars! I do a lot of research in many different fields! I would love if you did a video detailing what research you do! I always like to hear about other people's research and am really interested in yours!

Generally speaking, Gentlemen wear their watches on the contralateral side of their dominant hand. Pocket watches are held on a chain on the left side of the body if a man or woman is right handed, similarly with wrist watches.

The number one source of cholesterol in the American diet is chicken, which is linked to coronary heart disease. Also chicken is closely linked with urinary tract disease, especially since salmonella and campylobacter is found in chicken. But the astonishing thing is that cross contamination causes the spread of these bacterias in the kitchen even when the location is adequately sterilised with bleach and other chemicals. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1046/j.1472-765X.1999.00656.x/full

My mother is an Ovarian Cancer survivor! She had a tumor the size of a grapefruit. I never knew how serious it was until about 10 years ago. She went to the doctor with my Grandmother, and asking how they do about history they asked her about family members and their health. My grandmother told him that her daughter had ovarian cancer. He asked, "So when did she pass?" My grandmother said "Shes sitting right here". He apologized profusely and said "I've never met anyone who has survived it." At that point she had been cancer free for 20 years! He had another doctor and 2 students come in to shake her hand. She told me it felt awkward, kinda like a circus freak. She is still Cancer free, she tells me God healed her! I believe her! Thank you for your research. God Bless!

What's up Doc? A few tips for anyone who reads this: 1) Any dumbbell lift/dead lift as well as pull ups and pull down can be assisted by using straps... I like the Shiek wrist straps with the built in dowl for extra grip 2) Back extensions... drop the leg rest as low as it will go (the top should rest roughly halfway up your thigh as opposed to normal back extensions in which the leg rest can be waist high) to maximize the impact on your glutes and hamstrings. Focus on thrusting forward with your hips rather than pulling up with your back/core. If you do this correctly, you really shouldn't need additional weight as 10-15 reps is fairly difficult using only body weight.
