A lot of people in the fasting community talk about how we are designed to cope with scarcity. While this is true, I don't think a lot of people talk about how we are designed to have a legitimate feast from time to time. That's where I think "cheat days" come in.

I would love to eat whatever I wanted.. Must be nice. But with a borderline A1C and struggles with LDL, I have to watch what I eat and eat healthy 99% of the time. It's challenging to fully recover from an ED (restrictive eating/orthorexia) if you have health implications.

It makes me so happy to see you have a good relationship with food and your body. I too was sucked into being lean all the time and have finally moved into self acceptance while encouraging healthy habits

Just wanted to comment that this video changed my relationship with food forever! I went all after seeing this somewhere in 2021 while focusing on my hunger and fullness cues. I tackled emotional eating somewhere along the way and now am in the best health both mentally and physically I’ve ever been. Thank you ❤

No one ever mentions the sugar. Literally barrels full. How does she not literally go into a coma?

I'm really full but I'm getting dessert after eating all those donuts and that sugar. Cheat day or not, it's an unnatural and very unhealthy appetite for sugar.

Maybe if you let yourself have that piece of cake you crave, every once in awhile, as part of your normal lifestyle, you wouldn't have the need for such idiocy as a 9,000 calorie "Cheat Day", which is really just a binge in disguise. You Americans and your toxic food language. Cake = Bad. Therefore, eating cake (which you can only do on your "Cheat Day", of course) is "cheating". Stupid.

Is 306 g of carbs the same as sugar? Usually sugar is listed separately on nutritional information. I'm guessing 12 donuts and a couple cookies is at least 306g of sugar or enough to knock out an elephant. Don't try this at home kids.

Can you do a total grams of sugar count? I think that would be the most shocking stat.

Anyone want to guess the total grams of sugar for the day? I'm thinking 1000 grams for sure.

25 grams of sugar a day for women. A lowney chocolate cherry has 27 grams....yah....

I could never deal with that amount of sugar in such a short time. She is either seriously addicted to sugar or this is just a sensational performance. But the added sugar she just took in including at breakfast would probably exceed a week's allowance. It looks like she's trying to meet a sugar and calorie quota. It's disordered eating. The cheat day and the regular day.

Hi Stephanie! Just wanted to thank you for putting yourself out there and sharing this very complex and nuanced journey. I watched it unfold years ago when you were going through it. At the time I couldn’t relate because I’d never been super lean. Back then I was just a normal lady who enjoys the gym. It was fascinating to watch though. But I’m currently revisiting it, because the last few years I’ve entered the competitive bodybuilding world. I really enjoy it! BUT the “extreme hunger” is something so hard to explain to someone who hasn’t experienced it. When I’ve been at my leanest I kept thinking about your videos and how I now knew exactly what you were experiencing!! Thinking about all the pressure that was on you to maintain that super lean physique, and trying to do so, had to be so tough! Anyways, years later, you’ve really helped me. Finding peace with weight gain, understanding deep insatiable hunger, and being totally okay with eating for pleasure. It’s complicated and hard to explain, but you’ve done a fantastic job and I appreciate your vulnerability. Hope you are doing great!! Happy 2025.

So, in yoga kriya and asana, we practice stomach vacuums through Nauli Kriya and the prep exercises. However, we hold the breath entirely on the out breath when creating the vacuum. Are you holding the breath here? It sounds like you breathe. Also, it doesn't look like a complete vacuum from this video and others I've seen. More like a drawing in and flaring. Am I correct?

No, the reason you can’t sleep on a bunch of carbs it’s because your blood sugar will be high and you will just have too much energy to want to sleep. Doesn’t mean it will make you fat.

Comments on your weight from an asian family member isn't built on good intentions, it's 100% a vanity thing. They're just ashamed to have a fat relative. Bad for status, bad for image, bad for networking. Doesnt look good next to your skinny sisters/cousins.
