Day in the life of a Potato Farmer

Everyone asks if farming is slow in the winters... I wish! This is what a typical day looks like on our 103 year old Potato Farm.

Man I worked on a potatoes farm for 7 summers. Hand graded for a couple years then started loading semis. We use to load 50-80 semis a day. Mainly for chips at frito lay or kettle, then the b's would go to a canning company. We did do a few varieties and dry loads from time to time. Good memories seeing your videos

Hey this was great. I want to see you do all the jobs on the farm. It would be great to see grandpa showing you how to drive the tractors and harvesters and trucks. Also would be cool to see you do more hands on stuff while you have the camera on you like when the veggie boys are harvesting

This was really neat to see. A video like this would be a great program for elementary schools to understand where food comes from and learn about wasting less food. Also, your grandpa is the best! I watched the wrangler short then this video. I can see he inspired your quest to reduce food waste. 😅

Love your content. Too many people don't know where their food comes from, what goes in to producing it and how much waste there is because of 'store standards'. As long as it's nutritious, who cares what it looks like.
