HOKA athlete Hayden Hawks burst onto the ultrarunning scene in 2016 with a surprising win at the very tough and highly competitive Speedgoat 50K in Snowbird, Utah. Since then, he's been on a tear with wins at some of the most competitive ultramarathons in country and in the world, including wins at the CCC 100K, Lavaredo 120K and the JFK 50 Mile. Next up, he has his sights set on the historic Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run on June 24th. After an 8th place men's finish in 2021 and a 2nd place finish last year, he has his sights set on the win.
15 Hours is a series that chronicles a day in the life of a notable athlete. In this episode, we follow Hayden Hawks as wraps up a day of workouts, physical therapy and time with family with 3 weeks left before the big day.

I remember watching these series back in the day - always like these in their own voice. Hayden has been taking a "leave no stone un-turned" approach to his training in both "putting in the work" - but all the extra stuff and analysis to get the most out of himself. Gonna be fun to watch on race day.

Hayden used to act all proud that he didn’t go overboard on mileage. Then he quickly returned to 140 mile weeks crammed into 6 days. He proved that is WAY to much for him. Only question now is , will he dial it back and stop shooting him self in the face ? 🤦‍♂️
