Thank you for the insight into your day as An IT PM. But really it seems to me that you don't have enough to do. That you may be a little bored with your tasks. Hence the breaks every 90 minutes. Important to do something fun with the wife in the evening!? If the day is so hectic I would think you are looking forward to going home and relaxing and recharging for the next day not hanging out for an extended period of time. In all my IT experience as a developer & SysAdmin, also documenting and managing client expectations(PMing), I don't see how dedicated PMs feel like their day is so hectic and stressful. Just Saying. Smh.

Hi Ahmed, thanks for asking! When you have team members working in different timezones, the key is to have regular synch meetings and to set rules of communication right from the start. Ideally, you also have one local coordinator per location. This was very helpful in my projects.

Thanks for reaching out @Bukky and @dan iel. To answer your question: As a project manager you don't have to be an expert in a specific area. However you should have experience in the field you are working in. Industry experience. Let's say you want to work as a project manager in IT, then you should have a good knowledge of IT concepts and processes. Hope this helps.
