If you eat Southern cooking, head to Barbecue Kitchen on Virginia Avenue, just a few miles from ATL. Pretty good mom-and-pop place. But, don't stray too far. The area surrounding ATL can be very shady if you're not familiar. Just my 2 cents from a guy that grew up around that area years ago.

I actually want to be a pilot in the future, mainly because I was traveling the globe since I was 6 months old (maybe less idk), I just love planes and physics, and it runs in my family. Got 3 family members who are pilots, 2 for Emirates and 1 that used to be on Turkish but now works on Royal Air Maroc. They all described it as a job that requires a lot of focus and responsibility, but also rewarding knowing that you make reunions, vacations, and work travels possible. Only thing I don’t like is the 1500 hour rule. It’s just really confusing to understand and what your supposed to do to get those. Really enjoyed this video and a basic rundown of what a pilot does when they aren’t on duty. Earns a sub.

Let go of control and try to enjoy the ride. Watch a movie or distract yourself in some way and also you can tell the flight attendants your anxious and they can help

All airline pay scales are on Airlinepilotcentral.com we are in negotiations for a new contract but right now 2nd year FO pay is what I’m getting and it’s $118 per hour. Other airlines just got some great new contracts
