I am so happy I found your family recently! Mika is beyond darling and such a great communicator:) I am a teacher of the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing and her sign language is amazing!! We also adopted our 2 daughters. They came to us as infants thru foster care and we were very blessed to get to adopt them. They are 24 and 27 now! Adoption is so important to us too. I pray every night for God to surround all of the babies/children in orphanages around the world with His love and strength and that forever families, like your incredible family, will find them. Izzy is totally darling too! You are all so blessed to have each other. A fan from Boston........

Miss Mika you are becoming so independent way to go Mom and Dad. I can see you really like using you PECs board to communicate. I have students who use that same system along with signing. Keep signing and using your board. You’ve come so far.

I've heard absolutely amazing things about the boogie board tablet! The dry erase board works well, but if you use it constantly, it may be worth the upgrade!💟💟💟

My four year old grandson didn't say a word he started speech school and now he doesn't stop talking. Im so thankful for his teachets that are amazing and they say he will be ready for regular classes next year for kindergarten!!!!!!!!!!!

Sign language is super expensive in the face too. So with “how many” you need to show your face with a questioning face 😲 great job! I always had a hard time in ASL classes because of my resting face.

They are not technically, but they are the only ones I like for her because they are hard sole and help keep her feet flat. She clearly wears them daily and I need to go get her a new pair tomorrow. LOL

Sign language numbers are a lot easier than getting her to do them two handed!

What do you mean? You have to use two hands to do higher numbers.

@@TheFeltsFamily in ASL you can do all the numbers single handedly all the way up to as high as you like! There are probably some KZbin videos showing 1-20. Should be a lot smoother for her. 😊

Sure! She has a neuro condition called bilateral perisylvian syndrome. It affects the mouth, jaw, and tongue. ;) She is super smart!
