Love listening to Morgan talk. He makes me miss Louisiana so much! My connection to La is deep! I was born in Lafayette, but grew up in AR. My uncle lives in Rayne…and created the swamper tire. My ancestor on my grandfather’s side discovered Thibodaux, LA. My grandmother was from MS and my grandfather was from Patterson, LA. Some of my favorite times were spent in Crowley, LA at my grandparents house! Thanksgiving consisted of a Baked Turkey, A pork roast, cornbread dressing/ oyster dressing, rice dressing, assortment of vegetables, cranberry sauce, two to three different salads, rolls, wine, Ice Tea, Water, cokes for the kids, and pecan pie, pumpkin pie. I now make pumpkin bread pudding With a caramel sauce. If this is a trash Menu…I love it! 😂

I married a cajun boy from Louisiana --- and you're right, Thanksgiving is DEFINITELY DIFFERENT. His mom makes shrimp/crawfish mirliton dressing (which quickly became my favorite thing on the menu), dirty rice, cajun smoked turkey and a whole bunch of other dishes my Yankee a** was unfamiliar with. The first year we were together I brought homemade macaroni + cheese and turkey stuffing and I felt SO out of place. They were wonderful and ate it though.

If you want to try a protein bar because I’m the same way I hate the chalky taste. I get power crunch ones they are so good. The mint one was my fav I kept it in the fridge and it reminded me of a thin mint.

I bought the Good Culture Cottage Cheese from all the reviews and it was SO thick. The texture was hard to swallow and I LOVE cottage cheese. However, I used it in my pastas, toast, etc and I still like it that way! The flavor is good, but the texture got me.

I got the strawberry protein pop tart from 7-11 and it was better than I thought it would be. It is a little expensive but it was good. I've also tried the cottage cheese pasta sauce. I made it for my mom and she hates cottage cheese and she didn't even know I put it in the sauce😆

They are so good! I dont think I will buy them regularly because they are expensive but I'm definitely a fan and I've heard they also hace a cinnamon roll which I want to try! The pasta sauce with the cottage cheese surprised me- I loved how creamy it was and i might like it better than plain marinara lol!

I made a onion dip with non fat plain greek yogurt added onion soup mix add to your liking add splash of creamer or splash of milk to loosen it up a bit so good

Tell me how to cook that Banza pasta and actually be able to eat it! I made it once and I even undercooked it according to the package directions and it was inedible. I threw it away and sent my husband to the store to get me regular pasta. What did I do wrong???

I cook it and always test a noodle before I strain it and once im satisfied with the consistency I drain and rinse it! You have to rinse it which with normal pasta you dont! I hope that helps! I also love the Barilla Protein Penne, cooks and taste like regular pasta!

I didn’t like the Legendary at all. Bought a huge box on Amazon last year and finally threw it away because I just didn’t like it and wasn’t eating it 😅 I really like MET-RX protein bars. Taste like a regular bar to me but it is very high in calories but it comes with 30 g of protein. On the bar itself it does say it’s a meal replacement so I’ll eat it as breakfast

Not a fan of the legendary poptarts. The cinnamon bun heated is okay. Also not a fan of protein bars either...except for barebell crispy creme! It tastes like Nestles100,000 dollar bar! 20 grams of protein and 1 gram of sugar!
