It's tough, but you really can't give these guys guaranteed contracts, they get super lazy and want to drag it out knowing they have a guaranteed paycheck each week rather than busting the job out, getting a bunch of cash and moving on. Hire a couple teams and let them move on to the next room as you approve the finished product. The fastest team doing good work gets the most rooms.

I fully back Ben up after hearing them talk out of their asses about it costing 10 grand to fix the signs lol... Ben has real common sense and real knowledge to back it up... I'm an electrician, those ballasts/drivers cost dollars. Could easily hire an electrician for $500 to fix it all up and get them lit up perfectly, every single letter... Such a small price to pay while they wait to purchase the new signs. Hell I'd probably just rip all the ballasts and florescent bolds out and put drivers with LED strips that cost literally nothing and is much brighter... Then Ben brings up the next valid point about it needing to be lit up at night, which I agree is super important for the business and overall look of the hotel. They are sitting their giving excuse after excuse that for one isn't true, and for two is just a cover up for them being shitty management. Ben knows how to manage a business much better than his sons after listening to that conversation.

@@lomparti understandably so, but hiring, maybe two temp labour's for the job, $14-$15 an hour to do constant clean up around 1st priority, the project, bringing in deliveries, such as toilets etc to each rm and 2nd priority cleaning around hotel and doing odd jobs till the renos were done. I think would save alot of time and money if he's not doing that already. Looks like individual companies are taking care of there own stuff and are unreliable when it comes to the clean up portion of things.

It’s the same thing I promised myself when I started my Logistics company, I told myself that I wanted to grow to a maximum of 15 trucks transporting containers. Not 16 nor 14, but 15 is the max. This way you still make a decent amount of money, without a headache. They should’ve stuck to rental properties, once you go big you either fly high or bump your head too many times. Why would you 😆, just keep it simple and don’t go too big.

I can’t even fathom the amount of stress u going through Ben. I got 6 rentals and some of my tenant is 2-3 months late on the rent, and the banks ain’t cutting me slack. This has been the hardest year, hope everyone can make it out safely
