This Isetta is the top model. The rear wheels are definitely further apart from each other than any other one I've seen. Better stability and handling for sure. Fabulous restoration!

One thing to note (from the thumbnail pic) is the wide array of colors at shows. Like a glass vending machine full of gum balls in the candy store. You just don’t get such color variance today.
@styldsteel16 жыл бұрын
Agree completely. Today it's Silver or gray with a black interior. The most ugly, horrible, low budget combination Shades available and these are not even true colors. It's like watching an old fashion black and white tv.

Todays junk isn't even worth mentioning with these old classics!!!

And not only the colors are the same, the shapes are basically indistinguishable. Unless your talking about 125k plus srts cars, 90% of vehicles on the road are small silver SUV (what they call them. There is no utility, and Definitely no sport about them) looking things.

0:23-0:25 I never knew the east coast of Florida could get ground fog. I always thought that was more of a California, December/January sorta’ thing. 0:56 - But I do see that it burns off quickly.

Dennis should have filmed the Hurst/ambulance in that foggy time eh?

Can anyone tell me what make/ model that brownish station wagon is that is driving down the road at 5:43-5:45 time stamp in the video? Thank you in advance! And again, thank you Dennis for all of your wonderful videos. Ive seen all you have posted at least 4 times each. Please dont ever take them down. They are a true reference guide of classic cars for future generations. Im 35 and missed out on seeing most of these beauties cruising the Boulevards.

The station wagon is a Ford. Around a 56. I can't remember the model name right now.

@@MyClassicCarTV The three-wheeled model was popular in the UK, cause it was taxed as a motorcycle. In Germany almost all Isettas were four-wheeled.

It's not the channels fault some private individual did something you didn't agree with to a car. You're doing it wrong.

I'm going to say that maybe the original engine was beyond repair, but if you're talking about GM being its rival, and thus, the particular engine of choice was wrong, what would you have put in it? Personally, I think the valve covers are tacky. I know why he did it, but the lettering is uneven. That alone really bothers me. Do it right, or not at all. Would've been better left blank, or just Chevrolet.
@adriantomlin29025 жыл бұрын
Probably can't get parts for the original vintage motor! I ve had a few rebuilt and with speed parts on it, it gets expensive in a hurry!!
