This is the best remastering of a game there is, it gives you the freedom to play it with both new and old graphic and interface interchangeably and the new graphic is so faithful to the original.

I remember playing this for the first time when I was probably about 13 or 14, the demo blew me away the previous year, and when it finally came out everyone I knew wanted this game! I remember being AMAZED by the one puzzle where you have to get a bottle of wine from the present I believe, send it to the past, put it in a time capsule, dig it up in the future as vinegar, then send it BACK to the present AS vinegar to use it in a battery there! That was so mind bending at the time, when I figured it out, I was so pleased with myself! This and Sam N Max Hit the road will always have my nostalgia muscle. Using Max with the water to short out that light switch was about the awesomest thing I had seen up until that point in my life hahaha. Also, does anyone also prefer this remake over the monkey island one? I had major issues with the graphics on that one going from awesome looking pixel art to cookie cutout looking flash style animation, where with this, it just... looks.... better! I don't know why, but I could play this all day, but not the monkey island remake!

I remember playing this game as a young kid that didn't knew English at that time and couldn't do more than 80% progress. Thank you for the gameplay, it was great!

Thanks for noticing. :) I complete each of the games 2 - 3 times (often more) to ensure no waiting while I figure things out and there are as few cuts as possible. I'm not perfect, but I try.

THIS is, how you update the graphics to HD, without destroying them! User interface is also perfect! We need this for Sam & Max Hit The Road!!! And Indiana Jones: Fate Of Atlantis

My time capsule didn’t have vinegar in it did I do something wrong?
@THESCUMMBAR4 жыл бұрын
You've probably solved this by now... but just in case (and for future explorers) you have to get a bottle of wine in to the time capsule in the past before you can grab the vinegar in the future. Don't worry - you can still fix this even if you opened the capsule.

If you try to use a scalpel on the cactus, Bernard says “What if the S.P.C.P. were to find out?”. Does anyone know what the acronym means?

Maybe i'm weid, but i simply love original, pixelated graphics in old adventure games. I like remake, but it will not beat the original. Period.
@turrican4d5992 жыл бұрын
But these guyes did it right. Not the abominations that became of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2
@Pingwn2 жыл бұрын
Those graphics look fantastic, they look exactly like the original just not pixelated and the remaster is a much more accessible way to play this. You can change the graphics if you want to the original, interchangeably from the mechanics which means everyone can play this game exactly how they like it.

the lucas arts adventuer games where always fun to play. to bad Goriege Lucas sold all the lucas compians to disney

Especially considering that Disney don't seem to care about those games but they will never agree to give the rights to people who want to do something with them:(

@@granthaber1341 as far as I know ever since Disney got the rights for Lucasarts games every new game of those series have to be accepted by Disney because of copy rights and this is why Ron Gilbert don't want to make monkey island™ 3a since Disney could tell him what he can put in the game and what not.
