Gary...lovely images especially for trying out a new system and lens. Dialing things in are steps to a level of proficiency and contentment with your photography.

I'm going back to Switzerland this summer. I have a 35 to 70 and a 110 plus some vintage 105 to 210 and a 300 with a 2x teleconverter. Last year I brought my XT3 and I found it to be fantastic, but I really want to get those crazy 100 megapixel images from my 100s this time. The camera + 110 is over 5 pounds though (around 2.5kg) so weight may be an issue and hope i dont miss many shots becauee 35 is a 28 equiv

Nice video, and some very nice images too. Kudos for your ball head, honestly You're the first one I've seen apart from myself using it. Hopefully you've as happy with it as me. Have to admit that I found your channel through Thomas Heaton about a week ago, really like your work, so I'm hooked.

Really appreciated thank you, and yes very happy with it as it's probably the best one I've tried. Thanks for watching😀👍

I've got the 50S and a few lenses, including the 23mm, and although I love the system, the main issue for me is the sheer bulk of it. I just end up not taking it out as often as I would like. I am thinking of switching the 23mm for the 20-35mm, and selling a couple of other lenses. The 20-35mm, 63mm and 110mm would be the classic 28/50/90 trio, which might work well.

That sounds like a great combination and yes they are bulky, but the glass is so good :) Many thanks for watching 😁👍

The 50S is so bulky! That’s the main reason I went for the 50R instead, and I never regretted it!

I'm with you on my X-T5! Carrying weight prohibits the 1kg I believe the GF20 is not including lens¿ There is something about the Fujifilm which for me has introduced real enjoyment into my photography; the customisation in the Fujifilm just grabbed me. I've printed out on EPSON P900 and V happy. So, after some 50 years of Nikon I've sold all. Your portrait ~ landscape Photoshop ~ how do you post process this????

65*24 is the amazing Hasselblad XPan aspect ratio… it’s super nice for sunsets, and wide landscape images

Great video! I have a quick question for you on the setup there. It looks like you selected RAW+JPG - is that right? And when you did that - did you camera put the RAWs on one card and all the JPGs on the second card? Or were you able to do them both on one card and use the second card for a backup? Also - did those crop ratios hold when you opened the RAW image? I know you had the whole image to work with - but did it apply the selected crop when you first opened it in your RAW processor? Thanks for any info you have on these questions.

Hi Janis and thanks for watching. I just had one card in the camera as I was going to transfer the jpg files to my phone so both went on the one card. Yes the aspect ratio holds up in post when you open them. I used lightroom for these ones so that I could check the files with that. A wee note, if you edit then hit reset you lose the aspect ratio.😁👍

So jealous Gary, my pal uses a couple of MF Pentax cameras for his work, such a leap in quality. The Fuji looks a much more manageable size though.

Thanks for watching Ian. It's a fabulous system in both camera and lenses. It's not as heavy as you would expect as well, probably not too dissimilar to the D850. 😁👍

The GFX are awesome… I have the GFX 50 R, nice nice camera! The GF 32-64 is a super nice lens, and the 100-200 is good for longer reach

Hah! I turned on closed captions to help "translate" to American English, but it struggled even more than I did. I did understand the GAS part, though. Thanks! My GAS is reinforced.

Stoating stuff sir. There are waterfalls close to where the derelict buildings are if you take the junction at the bridge, about a mile along that road. Getting down to them is a very different matter. Easier where you made the bracketing video in the C hills in the mist there is a 20/30 foot fall not the smaller 10/15 close by.

I'll have to check out google maps for them thank you. Thanks for watching😁👍
