The reason why Fxmode has a 3.2 star average review rating is because of something known as Laplace rule of succession. 1 review isn't enough data to tell if they're actually 1 star or not, so what they do is they adjust the average by adding 5 reviews (from 1 to 5 stars) & then calculate the average by assuming there are 6 reviews & not just one. So the average would be calculated as follows: (5*1+4*1+3*1+2*1+1*2)/6 = 3.2 3b1b has a good video explaining this called 'Binomial Distributions'. As someone who lost 310,000 in a FX fund over leveraging & being a cocky arrogant fucking early 20 something... I can say trading for extra income is certainly possibly. I do firmly believe, like anything, with time someone can become proficient in trading. However - HOWEVER!!!!!! The probabilistic outcome is low. Now I just trade as a hobby & give opinions on charts. But even after 6 years of doing this I still feel like Idk tf I’m doing.
