it s really incredible how fast this guy is learning. i didnt know you can get a wild horse used to you after 1 single day, not even speaking about saddling it up.

I love how calm you’re and how Stitch reflects it so well. Like had I not watched the first day I’d just thought “Oh it’s just a young horse getting some groundwork”. I’m looking forward to seeing more! Because both of you’re doing wonderful

I find your videos so inspiring! 🥰 I am waiting for my own little mustang (she'll be here in november!) and I love to watch your videos. One of my biggest dreams in life is to be able to adopt a wild-caught mustang to train and build a relationship with. But as I live in Sweden that's gonna be hella expensive 😂 So I'll have to wait a while, and solely focus on my own little colt ❤️

Great video and Mustang! Amazing how fast he’s catching on! I was also amazed that he allowed you to groom him a bit and braid is tail! I thought for sure he would have maybe kicked out or something but he didn’t! Nice work!

I've been thinking about participating in this, but I have a question! Do you get a saddle for a horse you'll keep for 100 days? Do you have a few different sizes and pray it'll fit or rent? How does the whole saddle situation work 😆

Is the any way you could describe to me what you mean by haunches and having him disengage them?
@alycewich44723 жыл бұрын
@ Madison Pfile - Haunches are his hindquarters (butt) and disengaging them means he turns them AWAY from her when she stops him. So she's making him go ahead of her while she drives (makes him go forward) almost parallel to her. When she wants him to stop, she points at his haunches/butt while gently pulling on his head. He is to turn and face her turning his haunches/butt AWAY from her. That is disengaging the haunches from going forward. This is a very simplified explanation of what is happening. Hope this helps.

Good questions Madison! I think it’s important to comment Stitch is Not acting like Most “wild” or even “domesticated” horses. This is a VERY quiet horse. I hope people who own dude ranches or Therapy ranches catch these videos. Would love to see this guy go to a place where they work with disabled children because he’s so calm and patient.
