I would guess that the structure was designed to dry either grains or perhaps fish and high above the ground to protect from predators. The machine to wring out the water from the sheets we call a wringer in the US. (Sorry I have no idea what happened to the bees.)

Dan, you're a master chef (just like my husband) - your food looks delicious! Glad you are in an apartment with the rain falling so hard outside 💦💦. Oh, and this is what I read on line about the dead bumble bees: "Large numbers of dead or dying bumble are often found around some species of lime trees (particularly silver lime, Tilia tomentosa), and it has been proposed that natural chemicals in the nectar of these trees are poisonous to bumble bees."

Hahaha many nicknames for a great husband ♥️😄 the stone represents an old runestone, is typically a raised stone with a runic inscription from 11th century. But hopefully we can find a real one someday to show you.
