Just checked the detailed results of final stage and Dayoon actually got the lowest score for the wieniawski concerto among all finalists....Chair gave him the lowest score among all jury members 14/25 lol

@@juyeonpark856 And the thing is I did not see any fatal technical flaws with his rendition (like Hina's horrible staccato in 3rd movement), while Soyoung won the competition 10 years ago with a fatal mistake in the last 15 seconds of the concerto. I guess it's all about artistry/musicality then, need some professional violinsts to explain this lol~

Nie wiem jakim cudem ten człowiek zagrał to na tym poziomie i przebiła go dziewczynka z okropnym d-mollem i średnim Brahmsem. Następnego konkursu nie będę śledził... Osoby przechodzące z etapu do etapu wybierane są zamkniętymi oczami do stopnia gdzie Ambasador konkursu wyśmiała wyniki I etapu i była zmuszona usunąć post. Niestety podium zajęły pupilki a nie dobre skrzypaczki. Żenada.

He is good but do you remember Soyoung yoon? I think that her performance was better because she played more from hurt, she is more musically. He is too mechanical maybe better intonation in the last notes (I guess C sharp) but interpretation Soyoung is better for me.
