Wow I can't imagine that. We're in heatwave at the moment. I hopped in the car to pick up the kids today and it said 39 degrees celsius, which is over 100 Fahrenheit I think. Happy cosy stitching :)

I am so glad that you are keeping up with the Calendar. The House was so big for me to stitch in a day and I am still working on the Snowman and now I am getting busy with the Christmas Shopping, Wrapping, Baking Christmas Cookies so I will keep on watching you make progress on yours and get the stats from you so I know how many stitches it is per block. I really appreciate the stats because I do not have Pattern Keeper. You have beautiful fabric for December. Happy Stitching.

Oh the project bag is adorable! The board helps a lot too. Great work on your WIP. I agree with you about the snow with the bear. He doesn't need it. Everything is busy busy here too but sneaking in stitching time anyway haha.

They don’t make an apple version. But my question is does each full cross equal one stitch. Or is each leg considered one stitch…just curious 🤷🏻‍♀️. Enjoy all your family time this weekend! Thanks so much! It was an amazing piece of stitchy kindness :). A lot of people with Apple products use MarkUpXP. I haven't used it but it has good reviews. Yes the cross stitch programs consider one full cross one stitch. Hope that helps :)

You guys may have penguins (and I am a little jealous), but we have polar bears! We have one at our zoo and he's just amazing. One day I hope to go to Churchill Manitoba and do a polar bear tour to see them in the wild (srsly, look it up, it looks phenomenal!). Fun fact: Arctic is Latin for bear, so that's how our pole got named and the Antarctic means 'no bear'.

You do have Polar bears. They are wow and one day I would love to see one. I'll definitely be looking up the polar bear tour. That sounds incredible! I didn't know about the latin either so thanks. Though I think the Antarctic should have been called the latin for 'penguin'. In the news a week or two a go we had an Emperor Penguin swim up all the way to Australia for the first time to our knowledge. Isn't that amazing! Happy Stitching :)

Your bear in the calendar lives in Australia, and you don't get a snowy Christmas! If you buy some binding clips, you can clip your projects to the design board, then it holds it secure while you point out the different parts.

Something that might help you with your board during filming is the addition of quilting clips to hold your projects to the board. Just a thought. I have really enjoyed your Flosstube presentations and look forward to seeing many more. Before I sign off, could you provide a link for your fabric of the month club? Mele Kalikimaka!

In order to get ahead on your calendar stitch why don’t you put in a few stitches each day on Dec 25? Then finish whatever is left on the 24th

That is a good idea! I've seen someone on instagram using any leftover floss colour that's in block 25 to stitch it so by Christmas Eve they'll have it done. Happy Stitching :)
