Oh my goodness girl! I hadn't even thought of stitching for Valentines Day! I have my head down working on the 2025 HAED SAL. I'm trying to finish this project and stitch more than 400 stitches a day finished. Also Stitching to the Moon thing, Fly Away. 😀 Hi Captain! Today, I received four NEW 2025 Primrose Cottage Valentine patterns and add in the other 18 Primrose Cottage Valentine patterns. And ALL of the other designer's Valentine patterns. I have many, MANY patterns to choose from. Now earlier this week, I purchased 1 FULL yard, 36" x 55", of a 32 count Lugana dyed in a mottled pink. Kind of like Vintage Country Mocha but in pink. I like Valentines day so much I have a 3 shelf tiered tray for decorated all year for Valentines Day. 💖 💖 💖

Re: the Kreinik shortage: Doug Kreinik retired last April and sold the business to Rainbow Gallery (maker of Petite Treasure Braid). They had to move the equipment across the country to Los Angeles, and I don't know if/when they started making more Kreinik. Rainbow Gallery is not currently in the fire evacuation area, fortunately.

There is an antique spray that primitive gatherings puts out that you could use to make your fabric grunge, instead I'd coffee/ tea dye. It's got a spray bottle that is more controlled then dipping in the fabric.
@adelaidestitches2 күн бұрын
Thanks for that! I can't seem to find it in Australia but I've looked it up and it's a brilliant idea. I might try the tea/coffee solution in a small spray bottle. That way I could keep the existing mottling of the fabric. I'll let you know how it goes. Happy Stitching :)

I love seeing all the bright happy colours in your projects - that’s what I like to stitch too! 🌈 I would be very tempted to start the Patreon Gecko Rouge pattern if I were you. I like the idea of a birthday start, or a plan to stitch it once you hit X% complete on the Bee pattern, like 25% or 50%? That way the anticipation of the new start will keep you on track to make good progress on the bee before getting distracted by the shiny new start! But also if on your next video you tell us that you started the moth/butterfly, I won’t be mad about it! 😂 😁
