@@BendStudio_ Seriously. I think this is an IP that needs to be fought for. I know the sales numbers weren't as high as hoped but it really was a great game. Literally so many times while fighting the hordes, knowing you were pushing the PS4 to the max, I just kept wondering what you could do with that system on the PS5.

All I gotta say is........If this doesn't scream that Bend Studios wasnt ready to create Days Gone 2 then what does! I'm definitely a Sony fan boy! With that said, there biggest mistake since the start of the new gen. is saying no to Days Gone 2 proposal. And yes I signed the petition as well. This games story was as good as RDR and RDR 2 as well as The Last of Us 1 and 2. For me this game had everything u need out of an open world RPG. Most definitely good enough for a sequel. For the love of god, look at some of the other exclusives that were given a second game. Just think about how good red dead got on rdr 2. I really felt like Days Gone had laid the ground work with the characters and story to have a bare minimal trilogy. The reason I went out and bought a PS 4 pro was because of this game specifically. I had not owned a Playstation since PS 2 just sayin. After that I went on too play all their best exclusives that I had missed over the last 12 years. It brought me back into gaming at an unhealthy level possibly worse than what it was when I was in highschool but we all know the ones that are just too good to put down or are worth playing 2 or 3 times. This was that for me. Sony please reconsider?

This game blew me away with the amount of detail put into this games world. From the plants and trees, to the lighting, even to the tiny detail of the pine needles on car hoods. Great job bend!!!

I've never played any playstation games before but everything changed when my friend boasted me this game. I remember I was still in college and Days gone just came out. My friend let me play it in his house and it was breathtaking. That day I have said to myself that I will for sure buy playstation 4 by the time I got employed. And guess what, I never regret of loosing any peny that I spent. It was worth it. I'm proud that this is the 1st playstation game that I played and I'm still praying that we will get a sequel. Thank you Bend Studio for creating such a wonderful game.

On the other hand you have to live with a fact, that you'll never be able to play a sequel that this game (without any doubt) deserves so much.. Seriously Days Gone is CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED!!! It's such a fantastic game and deserves a sequel more than most!!!!! For those of us who grow up playing siphon filter especially love it because the outbreak has to do with the virus from siphon filter

I've only played Days Gone long after release but I'm so glad I did. It was an absolute blast. The game is criminally underrated. The hordes, the world, the story, the atmosphere, the graphics, the sound design, the gameplay. Everything is top notch. It's a shame there is no sequel. But I'm looking forward to the new IP :)

I love the dynamic weather system ya'll implemented in to the world. It adds such an immersive experience to the game! The fact that many of the locations are real , again adds such an immersive and relatable experience to those who live in Oregan that play this game. I love it!

There's this saying that when ever you wanna fast travel you think the game is boring. Days Gone is the opposite, in Days Gone you actually wanna drive across the map because you might drive into a pack of wolves, a horde, an ambush and so on. There's always something interesting to see on the map when you avoid fast traveling. Now I admit, I have fast traveled in Days Gone, not because it was boring, but because I wanted something so bad that I couldn't wait to buy it, but then I fast traveled back. Out of all the games I've played, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Days Gone are games I've barely fast traveled in at all. Simply because both worlds are unique and filled with so much love to see. Amazing game and an even more amazing studio. I wish you all good fortune!

I've played Days Gone four times and I'm still playing it, for the fifth time, I hope you guys make Days Gone 2, with the same actor he was awesome that bike was a great idea and the cliffhanger, it was awesome just waiting for the next one. Days Gone is one of my all-time favorite games. But I think it's the only game where I felt that much in danger, craving for survival. This was probably because I was so deeply immersed in it. Guys, this game is incredible. Probably in my Top 15 Games of all time. Fantastic job guys, I have the PC version and it's great. After seeing this video, you guys absolutely NAILED the world, it definitely looks like your area. Push for that sequel, or maybe just some DLC. I'd love to see this IP in another location, especially after seeing how well you capture the area around Bend.

One of the most underrated game of century. I don't care what the reviews say, this game is a pure gem. Even in 2024, there are no games that come close to Days Gone. I would even say it is better than The Last of Us. Days Gone has a better story, improved game mechanics, a richer open world, and a more realistic portrayal of survival and human emotion.

The weather system in this game is possibly the best I've seen and that includes Red Dead 2 because even that game didn't do dynamic snow cover. Actually it surprised me first when it started snowing in the green and lush area near the barnyard and I remember thinking "wouldn't it be great if the snow actually stuck to the roads" only to find not only did it stick to the roads it also went on the bike, the buildings and the characters and if it snowed enough you'd actually crunch through it when walking! Yep that was one of the best weather systems i've seen in any game before and even since. Ignore the haters of this game as they are usually the critics who are concerned the game is not diverse enough because the protagonist just happens to be a White Male Christian American Biker which ticks none of their nonsensical boxes. Gamers want games and not Politics and in my opinion you nailed everything a gamer wants in a zombie survival game with a great story that makes you want to keep going just to see what happens. Excellent job and I really hope you work on a sequel :)

I can't even describe how much I love this game! And what truly sets it apart from other great games is that the world is so realistic, every single little detail, the random weather changes, how the trees move in the wind, how the sunlight shines through the morning fog, and the sunsets omg.. Other beautiful games seem oversaturated and somehow unrealistic.. but Days Gone is just absolute perfection! I love riding around, catching the beautiful scenery while at the same time getting some action. Plus the story is just so amazing, how it all unravels. I've played it through so many times, I can't wait for the sequel (I still believe it's not cancelled forever), because I just want to see more of the story, get more places to visit, like maybe they actually do go up North after all.. and who knows what crazy stuff is up there!

Love the game and still playing trough the story (Picked it up on PC and runs great, yay UE4). Recently got a 4k tv and a 3090 and this game looks really good. More importantly the game is fun to play and love the world you guys made. Its interesting the game got overlooked by allot of people for some reason. Much love to the team that worked on it day in and day out. It deserves a sequel.

I have played a lot of open world games but the only two i finished completely is this one and the other one was Horizon Zero Dawn. story telling is insane in both games. i finished Days two times on PC. amazing work been done

Days Gone was the first game I played in PS4 and actually I learned from it when my wife tested a PS4 in a store. It felt empty, sad, survivorlish a world I'd like to explore. Up until this day I think no other game captured me like Days Gone, I was REALLY sad when it ended. After a couple games and years I went back for it, man it has a lot o bugs and things are definitely not smooth. But I still love it! I'm genuinely sad they dropped Days Gone 2, at least for now. I think in maybe 5 years they will see its a world worth revisiting. Days Gone for me has that thing old games have of making you want to see more, like a Duke Nukem that you want to access places you're not supposed to, that broke bridge, that unreachable place that cars are on the way and check if you can see more. Yiu guys really dropped the ball on not having DLCs and the challenges might have more randomness in the goals, maybe even use more of the camps, challenging missions it would make this game replayable. Once the story is over and hordes are dead there's nothing else to do, besides reseting and doing again. There could be a secret scene or ending when 100% is completed. So much more could have been done. And I'm only saying because I love it! Like many on the internet now recognize this game is an underrated gem. People keep talking about "The last of us" and I mainly see nostalgia goggles, I've played and I've finished but I still don't think is better than "Days Gone" it's WAY more challenging, and that's why it has this replayability factor. Someday I hope "Days Gone" will have a continuation. Maybe we'll learn St John finally accepted Iron Mike's place and the camps and region grew with his help. Maybe another game in a new location like a World War Z... I don't know I just keep dreaming

It is a beautiful game. I thought it was magic the way the weapons I'd picked and the skins I was putting on the bike were maintained in the cut scenes. I don't know how they do stuff like that. And also I did notice that if it was raining and I went into a cut scene, or if it was sunset, then in the cut scene it was still raining or still at sunset. Very cool.
