According to reports, it's gonna take 30-40 hrs to do everything in the game with 6 hrs of cinematics and storytelling. I like the fact that it's not a 60-100 hrs engagement like a lot of the other open world games that have come out this generation and it would help the game from getting stale or repetitive. And its easy stay engaged and invested for around 30 hrs

@@AllenTax just by looking u can tell it is of higher quality than most zombie games out there the likes of dying light to state of decay, dead island, etc...honestly only other ones i feel hold up is resident evil and last of us...and upcoming maybe dying light 2, but yea otherwise there really arent that many zombie greats, u can literally count em on one hand...in this game at least u got a story trying to be told with character development (almost feels like the walking dead overkill should have gave us), a grand open world and crafting+vehicle to get around, the gameplay shooting and diff types of freakers with dynamic traps/enviornmental situations has been shown to feel and play great...so u can easily discern it to be a good game...it may not be reinventing or bringing a whole new premise, but if u are into the genre, it is doing its own solid take on it to me it is like being into samurai japanese lore and i get to play nioh, sekiro and ghost of tsushima...so i cant wait for this to hold me over until some more zombie games like last of us 2 drop

Any Sony 1st party game will sell well enough because they always spend good money on advertising their main titles, and don't forget Playstation exclusives are mostly high-polished experiences with a lot to offer. I feel this game will be a huge success, after the first Alpha demos some people were put off by the game and how it looked and seemed to feel. Myself included, I was worried about the relevance of this title. But after the more recent demos, trailers and previews I'm now very confident about this one. I can't wait.

Sam Witwer. You seen him probably in The Mist, he was a soldier Walker inside the tank in the first season of the Walking Dead, he was Starkiller in The Force Unleashed games, he's a voice actor for Star Wars stuff and was a main character in a series called Being Human which was based on a BBC series of the same name. That's is where I know him from. I'm sure he has done a few things I don't know about. He's good at dramatic portrayals, which is why I was sold on his character as soon as I saw him on the 2016 E3 trailer.

The only problem I foresee with this game is that it comes out 3 days after Mortal Kombat 11. In order to feel like you're actually a survivor, the game needs to be a challenge, and they have given us absolutely no indication that this game isn't just a brain-dead, zombie-like shooter where you're mowing downs hoards and hoards of enemies who aren't even a threat to you, and doing it without thinking. ok, so I know game developers aren't mechanics, but there's something terribly wrong with the motorcycle. 0:28 it shows the motorcycle's wheel, and the brake caliper is floating behind the brake rotor. This will not affect anything as far as gameplay, it's just amusing to me they would get something like this so wrong.

Personally i've had a great feeling about this game since it was announced. Then i found out the studio behind the Syphon Filter series was behind it. Pre-ordered it based on this and gameplay. Day one purchase for me.

He looks so ridiculous with that stupid cap and whats worst, is that its glued to his head. He marries in a cap, falls down, fights zombies, drives a motorcycle at top speeds, gets wet, etc. And that damn cap doesnt come off EVER. He looks like those old dudes that try to be hip at age 45 using a cap backwards "hey look at me im cool!" Completely breaks my immersion. Hope you can customize him.

I am a Playstation fanboy, but this game is everything else than a surprise. A typical post apocalyptic zombie survival scenario with rudimentary open world game play mechanics.

I went from hyped to a bit dissapointed to hyped again! I never forget that 10 minute gameplay video from a few years ago with that huge horde of freakers, that was the moment I got really interested in this game. Now that I’ve seen quite some gameplay videos of the finished game it gives me some Far Cry vibes in a zombie apocalypse World somehow but I really like that. Still have some doubts about the game, but I’m finally convinced again to give this one a shot myself

I remember the set up they had at PSX the other year, it was awesome! Glad to see the games looking good. I’m sure it won’t be a 10/10 but it looks like the kind of game you can spend several hours in just messing around and having fun. I’m hoping the end product is as good as they’re making it out to be. I’m also loving game informers coverage on it. I tried going to IGN to read more about it and got ass blasted with reporters complaining the game was “too white” and that the character should’ve been a female and crap like that. I never really went to these guys before but I think imma stick with u guys for a while. Nice to see real coverage on the game.

I have to be honest I wasn't big on this game and was going to pass on it in lieu of TLOU2. But the more I've been seeing the past couple weeks really has me thinking that I want to play it. It does look solid and like it was given their full attention.

The zombies seems so easy, they run at you but they are always slower so there is no real threat of being scared you wont be fast enough. The zombies can't tackle you so when the zombies attack they have to play a slow ass animation, I expect when a horde is running to you and they catch up to you they jump at you, try to body slam you to the ground but there is really no threat.

Just another exclusive game from play station that makes me think “why tf do I still own an Xbox?!” I bought Xbox for halo and I cannot wait for Infinite and love playing MCC. But EVERY other game I play is cross platform (I do play Tomb Raider but I’d rather be playing Uncharted). But it’s becoming infuriating that Xbox can’t release quality exclusives and as frequent as play station.
