This song was written as a means to let go. I wrote the music almost 2 years ago, but felt like I got a dry spell BCS I couldn't come up with the complete lyrics. At that time, I had titled it "That Was Before I Found You" ...ironic that my thoughts at the time were to "Say Hello " to a new relationship, add in all my goofs (or corny things that happened) prior to that relationship , hence "That Was Before I Found You". The irony is 2 years later, the lyrics came to me as a way to say Goodbye, not Hello as the other title suggests. The storms are metaphors for the trials at times a relationship endures, or moreso, how they are handled. Anyway, originally , Days Turn Months to Years had to be shortened for recording allotment for under 4 minutes. I wrote an intro theme to the song, and this is the purchased score (6:51 secs----I don't think they would have listened if it went over 7---lol).
I'm not even bragging here. I didn't write this to put on the Songwriters Forum. In fact, to me, it was the perfect ending that I couldn't write.
