Edit: I realised after posting my comment that I should add a beginner saying 1, this is a theory I have, and 2, touchy subjects such as child loss and DA, and SH, just for people who struggle with those topics Honestly as soon as daz was saying “what did you do to her” when looking at the photo my mind legit jumped to “I feel like we’re gunna find out that was his wife he was abusive toward her and at one point either purposely or accidentally in a fit of rage caused her to miscarry which led her to take her life in the bath (this is based on the fact he’s locked away, possibly out of shame for what he did, why there’s a body in the bath, along with a baby in the bathroom at multiple points, the baby being with her symbolically saying they’re together in the afterlife, the giant demons clothing, paired with decor could hint that he’s lost time, possibly been alone decades as time passed on around him, and maybe the demon is symbolic of Jack himself, he’s seeing himself how his wife saw him, a looming presence, constantly looking around feeling like she’s never safe, the being trapped in rooms by force fields, even (and this is a BIG STRETCH) maybe the big guy leaning over himself and head between his legs etc, is a metaphorical way of saying Jack would “bend over backwards” for an excuse to abuse her, acting like she’s the problem)
