So while I can agree with most of the list, one I definitely can't agree with is Doctor, especially when you hear him again and again. He's not whimpering in pain from being stunned by a pallet, he's *laughing* in spite of being stunned by a pallet. His madness is to such a degree that he's enjoying the pain he's being given and laughing because of it. If you think of his stun like that, it makes him feel even scarier.

I came to post this as well, it's very "tee-hee, that tickles!", like he's almost getting off on it. Makes me kinda uncomfortable. Clown's laugh always sounded to me like he's making a show of laughing it off and pretending it's not getting to him when in reality he's pissed.

The Pig’s feels immensely out of character for Amanda but I… cannot help but love it. I don’t know, I can’t imagine her sounding any different. It’s also one of the most human-sounding of the stun noises, which I find chilling. I like it.

I think Dredge's makes sense because Dredge isn't really the mass of flesh that's coming for you. It's a meat puppet that the actual monster is using to move around. I don't think it would make sense for it to make a sound of pain or anything like that because you're basically just slamming a piece of wood against meat. I don't think the other voices should cry out either because those aren't really the Dredge's noises. Those are its victims.

I'm not sure if it's true, but I've noticed that when the huntress gets stunned late game her reaction is as if she's more mad that her prey escaped versus early game she reacts a bit calmer.

Also, for Pinhead I think it makes sense. Pinhead enjoys suffering, so being hit by a pallet is pain for him but also joy (right? Never saw the movie.) As for The Dredge, although not visible from the killer's PoV, The Dredge recoils into his shadowy void after a stun almost like a snail (which can be argued that it's more pethatic, and also not audible) Also I'd like to point out that The Trickster has a specific voice line after being stunned, basiclly dropping an F-bomb to the survivor. Although KZbin wouldn't like hearing that

You are right, though I've never seen the movies either. It's fitting that he doesn't make a negative noise to the pallet stun, but I still expected more than a deep moan I guess. If you do a few more takes on Slinger’s stun noise, it start as a decrease in volume and then ramps up like huntress. Personally one of my favorites, second only to Ghostface.

You're actually spot on with Huntress, she's got the mind of a child so it really is a tantrum she's throwing. So many have pointed out that Doctor's is probably a laugh which I agree is exactly it, but it just sounds like a whimper to me so it's not intimidating at all. That said, he does have another laugh that's 100x more terrifying and he's easily the most disturbing one of them all as a whole. LOL I'm going to think of that now every time I get stunned as Ghost Face 🤣I agree Victor is S, but I figured I'd judge them together and average them out. That's what I've always assumed it was supposed to be. A lot of others have also pointed out that it can sound like he's enjoying the pain as well, which adds to his horror. While I agree that is all true, for some reason that sound is now stuck in my head as a whimper and I can never hear anything else 😅
