@@dekillsage don't matter what character you do it for, it's really interesting for those who don't have tons of time to play and try every character, most of the times I get rocked online is because I'm against a character I have no clue about like Hit, Ginyu, A17, Videl or Janemba, there aren't enough people playing them and matches are so short you don't have time to properly learn how to play against them, these videos are awesome to learn the characters and how they work

I knew from the very beginning that Goku Blue was a monster. He has everything a good character would have. (lows, block strings, combos, etc.) He was so looked down on back in S1 and S2, now he's one of, if not the best character in the game.

One thing that MOST PEOPLE MISS that they added from the patch for bluku, is his ex shoulder charge now gives an air dash if you were in the air. So if you micro jump and then ex shoulder, and they block, you can get a 50/50 mix off of it and even more if you spend a bar for ex dive kick!

Something about Blueku's M divekick is that in the corner, you get a safe jump against back tech and tech in place and you can time the jump attack to cover up tech as well. If the opponent does back tech or neutral tech, then you can also land and do a low, which will also beat out many options. They can try to level 3 if they think you will go low, but if you delay the 2L, then you can react the the level 3 and punish it. Up tech and level 3/DP might beat the setup but other than that this is a really good setup

Same. I don't play it too much but i didn't know he have a 4M. Man im a veteran of this game and just a month ago i discover that in the air you can do L two times by pressing j.L, j.4L. That's was the reason why i couldn't do kid buu more damaging BNB. Man i play since the firsts months AND DIDN'T KNOW THAT LITTLE THING. But it was not a problem because the only character i now they really use it are kid buu for BNB and android 16 for BNB and the loop

Blueku's lowkey been an insanely good character and he's only gotten better. Unfortunately, no one gives him credit where it's do. He does mad damage, has insane pressure, and can mix you like crazy if you do the right setups. Thinking of maining him this season tbh.

One thing to note about his j.S, is that it is a reflect-proof jump in attack. If they reflect, it will only reflect the ki blast *not* Goku Blue. Then you can just push buttons in their face and catch them off guard.

I have an ex dive kick thing on block with assists, if the assist pushes the blocking character back,you can ex dive kick on block,and depending on the timing of the assist depends on the side you show up on,so you can actually stay same side or side switch plus the extra high and low, it's really good, some examples I found this are all beam assists, baseku, and other push back on block assists

No crouching or you get stepped on can grab you during a blockstring at anytime teleport around you, all his supers lock you in the corner his ki is perfect for punishing whiffs as they track and are multidirectional and his ki absorb into a combo is super satisfying

I feel like the thing that held Blueku back before was that his Assist was bad, but now that he has his B assist (Elbow) + the additional buffs he's def top tier. IMO he's probably top 5

Ive been a Bluku main since day 1 and always thought he was top tier. Def high A tier. Also you can mix people up with his normal blick string that you showed but end it with the ex shoulder tackle. The buffs now give him another hit after it and you do an overhead or wait to land and do a low

Maybe now that Sage is talking about my mans, the instant transmission is really busted if used with a lockdown assist. Also he does have the highest solo damage in the game with Super Broly for the least meter. A assist has way more blockstun and hitstun than his b assist while tracking as well it is harder to use tho. Honestly the only thing holding him back really is the fact that his neutral isn’t nearly as strong as Someone like Bardock unless he uses more meter/assists for more reward. He is honestly Top 2 to me

Love the video and its really well done! I've played this character since day 1 but was always on and off with him on my main team. But I do know all the loop routes and have been strongly considering him on my main team again for season 3 and this video helps a lot with that decision. Fun character and damage is insane. Also what do you think about him as a mid this season? I personally think he fits in mid better than he used to because of his B assist. But probably a bit stronger on point still.

He has a lot better routes for damage than you showed. Even his most meter built solo doesn’t use 236M. I’ve been trying to get ppl to realize he is amazing since season 2. If you think his 214M is bad then you should trying adding 214L + assist after 4M or do 214M. They look the same and if they don’t jump you are covered to continue pressure. Even just doing it raw some times is funny because if they jump the 214L you are plus since it still does a punch.
