Great video. Recently picked up the game again since I saw Wawa win EVO and I got the mod for Beast Gohan on PC so I needed an anchor for my team and Janemba fits perfectly. Arguably the best assist in the game, great mix, insane anchor damage and overall good string pressure and it fits nicely with Adult Gohan reverse beat block string pressure for lots of mix.

Thank you! Janemba’s assist used to be considered that, but as you play him you’ll notice that it’s not really as good as we once thought. Still a great and fun character for sure

@@NovaZayn I would imagine it's similar to Vegito assist. You first use it and you're like "holy shit this is broken" but then you just bait it out in neutral and they get no value from it. He also absolutely shits out damage. I got SSJ4 and A Gohan to build meter and overall just do consistent damage but when Janemba is last with sparking and meter, he's disgusting.

1:27 pretty sure you have to do 661 in order to dash block correctly if you don't the crouch block comes 2 frames slower than when you crouch block out of dash

Yup, dash blocking in general is 664 which is what i put but during pressure it’s better to do 661 due to low hitting 2Ls. Not sure what you mean by 2F slower, 664 and 661 are the same in that regards

@@NovaZayn I could be wrong but I thought dash blocking into crouch makes your block come out sooner compared to just 664 this is stuff I learned a while ago so I could be wrong but I thought dash block664 takes 4 frames to get the block starting from dash and 661 only takes 2 frames from the dash
