The thing about Jiren is that he was a master of controlling his energy, and how to use it. In Super Hero (and the Manga), vegeta references this, and how Jiren was not that much stronger than him or Goku, but his control was what kept him a cut above them. Broly on the other hand has no control. I’m sure Broly is stronger than Jiren, but he won’t beat him until he learns to not attack mindlessly.

I think the scary thing about Broly vs Jiren is Broly can tank alot of damage and his power grows the longer the fight drags out, the only way to take down Broly would be to finish him with one powerful attack. Jiren has the same stamina as broly, better techniques, same speed if not faster, and more powerful as proven by what he was able to do to golden frieza vs broly. let's talk accurately. Base Gogeta is about SSB Goku + SSBE Vegeta, which in in of itself could give Jiren minor problems, but not for SSJ Broly. Officially, Gogeta went SSB at the start of the battle due to the fact that if he went even a little less in, Broly would've adapted -which would be the case in this hypothetical battle-, and in change, destroyed earth, and many other planets.

It's also important to note Broly didn't scale to Blue Gogeta, he was massively outclassed in that regard. The only way Broly could beat Jiren is if he could last long enough for the power boosts but I think Jiren could take him out well before that.

UI is stronger than Gogeta Blue. When you're looking at Moro 73 or Full Power Jiren or even Universe Seed Hearts you're looking at ssjb Gogeta or God of Destruction tier power. Beyond that tier is MUI.

I'd say Broly's got more raw power, being able to push Gogeta to blue is insane. But like some other commenters have said, Jiren's got raw power and mastery over it. Unless Broly got ahold of his strength, he'd become predictable, easy to bait, and Jiren could take him down. Not easily, of course, Broly would probably put Jiren on the back foot for a lot of the fight-- but again, Jiren's power is controlled, focused. So yeah, in the forms we see them in the actual anime, Jiren wins highdiff, but if Broly ever learned to be on his level of mastery of his strength, Broly's turning Jiren into a skidmark on the wall. Huh. Thinking about it, Jiren would make a damn good master for Broly after Goku and Vegeta and Beerus are done with him.

Blue Gogeta is most *certainly* many times stronger than MUI Goku-- MUI is insane, but Blue Gogeta isn't just Goku Blue + Vegeta Blue. It's closer to GB+VB multiplied by some unknown number-- but even if that number is just two-- That's two blue gokus and two blue vegetas *minimum*.

Perhaps Broly is a little bit stronger than Jiren but with Broly not being able to control his Ki, he will be drained of energy way before Jiren would be. So I give the win to Jiren, who has mastered his ki. You have to remember Jiren wasn't trying to kill Goku or Vegeta during the Top. He held back a lot of his energy. Majority of the time he was playing with them. In my opinion, Jiren allowed Goku, Frieza, and Andriod #17 to eliminate him. Watch the scene toward the end, after Goku, Frieza and #17 hit him with their combined blast and the screen shattered. You can see Jiren was smiling. I honestly think Jiren could have won the ToP but he learned a lesson from Goku about fighting for your friends instead of solely fighting for power (strength). That's why Jiren allowed Universe 7 to beat him and he apologized to Universe 1 after being eliminated for how he treated them.
