Mate please understand that we like videos of expensive builds. This kicksin is extremely cool and I'm going to make one really soon. Just don't use expensive builds in your basic class guides for new players (Blizz sorc, Hammerdins etc.). That's all we're saying and why people "cry in the comments". You just need to understand the target audience of your videos better. New players are the ones watching basic class guides so make the videos for them. And more experienced players are watching cool videos of expensive kicksins. Anyway, love your work no matter what.

I used to use this build in a cheaper gear. Kingslayer as a weapon (or stormlash if you get one), sanctuary in a shield, Armor: lionheart, belt: TG, gloves: dracs, rings: RF+rare ring with str, leech and res, amulet: rising sun, boots: upped gore, helm: G-face. Still works, this asn just needs more time for Über quest. The good thing: you may invest one point into Death Sentry and use it as PvM build too

'Fixing' the IAS Cap was a HUGE mistake and honestly pisses me off enormously. I had so much fun with 2/2.. kicks, having much more gear options, running a VoR PB, Andy's,BoS,Treachery,20%ias gloves. Was it brokenly good? Hell no. Was it FUN? Fk yes! And it FELT SO different. Super responsive and like am actual assassin. Now i just need my gloves and all the rest of ias is completely useless. I mean, ffs come on Was there a SINGLE person complaining about this??? Melee was still underpowered AF but now they even took all the fun out,Gratz.....

If wealth isn't an issue I think I would use Metalgrid and make a Iron Golem out of a Pride polearm. It also adds 400-450 AR and 25-35% all res. Still not sure if that's better than Highlords unless DS doesn't work with kicks? Also if max Dam doesn't work why not use steel (25-36 AR) charms instead of fine (10-20 AR) ones?

Huh, I'm impressed. I did kicksin a few years back, but a bit different. Sanctuary in troll's nest, angelic combo and fade+coh+light res scs to survive meph. I gotta say, the CB part was cool, but the rest of lifebars was a real chore. I couldn't dream of such clear time and to me kicksin was one of the slowest and most risky Uber killer.

Yes and no. This build still hits the max frames with Burst of Speed but does not actually take advantage of the overstacking IAS since it only has 35%

@@toursauce1496 That's wrong - this build was using a fanat merc and a LW phase blade with high Burst of Speed. It was definitely breaking the old caps and hitting 2fpa on the initial dragon talon kicks. The fix to the attack frames is very significant.

I think using a Ber’d or Shaeled Stormlash would make this even stronger. That would free you up to use Dracs ‘s if you wanted Life Tap (which conflicts with Amp Damage anyway) and give you a free socket slot for your GFace. Alternatively you could just use CB Gloves and never have to worry about Life Tap taking priority over Amp Damage or Fade canceling your BoS. You still end up with 100 CB if you use CB Gloves or GToes, and get the added advantage of static field proccing instantly for crazy damage. Over all, very cool build that takes advantage of the uncapped IAS in D2R. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah there are definitely better setups or ways to tweak the build. My original goal was to use my bnet build in SP (Last Wish, Hoto, Enigma, Fort, etc etc) then I messed around more with SP and added the 3/20/20s. It's by no means perfect but aside from the charms and merc, I wanted it to be the same thing I used online

@@toursauce1496 Stormlash my absolute favorite thing to run on a kicksin, even discounting Uber’s. I run Ber’d Stormlash on my hybrid kicker with two 15 IAS jewels in SS/GFace, with maxed traps. It melts P1-5 Chaos and is second only to Java for P8 Baal. Especially since D2R changes uncapped IAS, Stormlash is the clear BIS for any kicker in higher player content; Rift may be superior for P1 though, ofc.

But the new uber record was done with stormlash which says a lot about how good the weapon can be with the right gear to support it

So I tried this build...same items...other then the 40/15 , mine was a 35/15....... For Lilith yea the atmas helped but for the rest I found the Amp % was getting in the way of my life tap. I went with maras for the rest.

Inspired by some bits of this build I made a Dragon Claw assassin that kills Ubers easily with waaaaay cheaper items. I use dual upped Bartucs, Nats armor with 3 Ums, Gores, G helm, Draculs, Atma + 2 ravens. 20K AR, 2200+ dmg on each claw, very cheap and cool looking build. I could never understand how can someone play assassin without 2 claws, every other weapon combo just feels wrong. :) On the other hand, since no one plays DC assassin, items for it are just so cheap. :)

It is one of the most underrated Uber killer, I bought almost perfect Bartucs for Fal rune. Later you can switch to Fortitude, even Duress works great + LOH gloves, since +dmg to demons works on DC and you do not need life tap if you get Life steal ring. Atma amulet is important for Amplify dmg. Lastly, this build will get even better on 2.4 as Dragon Claw is buffed and it may be worth using Tiger strike.

Basically. If amp procs your kick super fast and get some extra dmg before life tap procs to kill a little quicker. If it doesn't proc or life tap over rides that's good as well. The amulet is mostly used for the massive attack rating bonus it provides and the psn res for lilith

@@yorkshirelad3133 if you are running kicksin with death trap you can still key farm nik easy. Mind blast to convert enemies and let your merc go forward place you’re traps and they will clear the enemies before you have to get close for bodies. Little slower but not by much just exercise caution. Also recommend crescent moon till you find a stormlash. Static field aoe and - lighting resist pair well with weaker traps used for support. Literally have not found an area I can’t solo. Resistances seem to be the only challenge but I also do not have a torch or anni and have not um’d/ or ort’d my gface yet. Crushing blow is good at 50% due to the speed of kicks, don’t over Persue it.

I'm a bit confused here. Help me understand. The life tap proc is being covered up by amp damage which can be dangerous? Wouldn't fade on last wish cover up burst of speed also? Is the inventory of +1 MA grand charms needed if all the damage is coming from crushing blow?

I imagine you swap out atmas if you use dracs, you need all the skill points to hit 7 kicks, same with the skillers. You would also drop to a slower attack breakpoint. He didn't use dracs because everything died so quickly he just used full rejuves instead.

Atmas is mostly used for the bonus attack rating and psn res for lilith. Yes the curses over ride but 90 percent time life tap is over riding amp. Also more martial arts gcs means big boost to attack rating so we don't miss a ton. Remember not every build always hits like a smiter. The build also isn't perfectly optimized it was quickly constructed during a live stream.

As for the fade on last wish, simply recasting BOS while not ideal isn't a huge deal. I do it constantly while wearing treachery on my assassins as her budget armor early on.

Yes, you need to recast BoS to achieve 2/4 kicks on every fade proc. 99% of the damge comes from CB. All +ma are for AR. Ubers have 3k armor and 110lvl, so you need metric ton of AR to get 85% chance to hit. Yes, amplify damage removes life tap, it's dangerous, but it's the only way to kill ubers so fast, coz your basic CB damage of 12.5% on bosses is halved by their phys res (diablo and baal have 50% DR).

A Stormlash Scourge socketed with a Ber Rune is also a good choice, then you just use Dracul's instead of rare IAS gloves and Highlords instead of Atma's Scarab. Much cheaper than Last Wish but arguably just as effective, if not more effective then your set-up. Edit: Putting Faith in a Great Bow is the best way for Act One mercenaries. You want them to use Freezing Arrows as often as possible, so putting Faith in the fastest possible elite bow is the best option, not a Hydra Bow.

That's insane speed on getting those bosses down 🤯 I'm going for a weekend to go as far as possible on the game with some friends. Our plan is to go fissure druid, cold sorceress, Javazon and hammerdin as the tank. Alt thoughts on how we should do this to get a fast as possible? Haven't played d2r yet. So this would be first try since we played d2 back in the days. We got 2-3 days to go as far as possible 😅

Better go hurricane tornado druid as you dont have any physical dmg either and fissure druid is boring to play. Or go without druid completely and take fire sorc, she's pretty good with TirRal runeword

Very funny: all other uber classes take a routine of getting a Treachery armor, going to a fire to proc the fade and only then go to ubers. Here the kicksin with natural ability to max the fade completely ignoring this option.

You could make this build a lot cheaper and sacrifice speed. No need for enigma last wish. Heavens light guilems goblin toes laying of hands treachery. Good to go. Oh and u can build pure trapper plus talon. Great build

I have a slightly unrelated question. I’ve never done Ubers. I have a level 89 cold sorc. Is it completely impossible to solo Ubers with a cold sorc or is it just a matter of it being very slow? I have all the keys and I’m trying to decide if I should try it or not.

if u have a friend that can back u up when u fail so hard so u don't waste the keys. Try and see for urself, but u'll need some preparation.

With a sorc it's really hard because you don't have open wounds, so Ubers regenerate. Also, it's hard to do a lot of damage since you don't have crushing blow. There's a video out there of a guy doing solo Ubers with a full Tal's sorc.

Don't do it. It is going to be hard and you will struggle a lot with their regen. If you want to solo them with cheap gear a smiter will probably be your best bet.

Im using a kicksin for ubers as well. I feel it is quicker than smiter, but smiter feels much "safer" with the life tap procs from exile, etc

Sin has options to deal with adds, like if you place traps before pulling Baal they will get rid of ghosts, so there will be no annoying manaburn, and you can shut down adds on Lilith. But you need some resists gear to get started, like resist charms.
