Order of attack once you get into Tristram. You don't want to run in a aggro all three at the same time. Circle around, counter-clockwise, to the 9 o'clock position and go in slowly to aggro Meph. Then circle around clockwise to the 3 o'clock position to aggro Baal. Then continue clockwise to the 6 o'clock position for Diablo.

1 small tip for paladins fighting Uber Mephisto specifically. If you use your own conviction aura it will prevent Uber Meph's conviction from reducing your resistances.

The most important part imo is making sure you get a clean pull in Tristram. I'm kind of surprised the video doesn't cover that at all. Ideally you want to get mephisto first to get rid of the lightning damage. I did my first ever 3 rounds of solo torches a couple days ago. 2nd and 3rd were super easy. The first mephisto got stuck in a building. I couldn't get a clean pull so there were 3 different kinds of adds everywhere. I had to get on my sorc to clear the adds, and eventually was able to get mephisto alone enough to kill him, but it took forever.

@ZyklonBeast clean pull means you have to kite each uber separately so that you don't fight them all at once. Adds mean mobs.

Man the biggest problem with all these things is the extra power everybody gets from charms. You could have all the same gear (minus the enigma or whatever GG runeword they have) and you’d still never be close in power because of the inventory full of OP charms.

HERE IS ANOTHER SINGLEPLAYER TIP: Make sure you arent still in players 7 from farming other stuff before you pop that Uber trist portal.... May or may not have lost my first uber trist attempt ever because i accidently was still in players 7 from farming terror keys in AS

Huge tip I expected to hear, the main thing that was still preventing me from completing those Uber Tristam runs, even though I had the smiter, the life tap, the CB, then the open wounds for those last % of health (took me a moment to figure, that one...) is the RESISTANCES, specially lightning. If possible you want that lightning res at close to 300% before Hell malus, for a very simple reason that is so easy to miss in the middle of combat : Mephisto's conviction aura, if not stopped by your own 21+ conviction aura as a Paladin (not everyone specs into that), will destroy your lightning res with a huge -125% malus, and then he WILL one-shot you at some point without any problem. If you dont use or dont spec into that Conviction aura, then get that Lightning res ultra high and you will finally be able to get those torches. Happy demon hunting, fellas!

I use a level 95 ww barb that clears in a decent amount of time and rarely use rejuvs except for the merc. I use death and grief zerker, agelics set, chammed Arreats, gores, LOH, string of ears(switch to tgods for meph) and watch ar life gcs and resist life SCs. I prebuff for meph only with demon limb and treachery. The big thing is I use a life tap wand and a Hoto in the off hand. I have keep casting life tap and I never die and the health bars go down quick. I use howl to keep the minions away from Baal. I always take out meph first

It's a small buff but you can chug thawing and antidote potions to get your cold and poison res up.

Don’t try to tele into Lilith. You’ll often get surrounded and killed. She always has a champion next to her. I find Matron is better to do slow and smart

I farm for charge staves while waiting in baal runs. Get all my lower resist, lifetap and Tele staffs. Cruise over to Malah or whatever while waiting for people to Tele.

Saw a video of a mosaic sin melting ubers, thought mine would be strong enough cause I Run through p8 and I farmed keys forever and spent an ist rune all so I could fail on uber meph :/ my light rez I think is too low and he just would two shot me every time not matter how much I healed from life steal. Very sad time when I had to back out and just give up

@ZyklonBeast it means create a game from the lobby that you can go back to if something goes wrong. Don't just press play cause you won't be able to find the game back.

@ZyklonBeast when you open the game you have 2 options: either press play and choose a difficulty or go to the lobby and join or create a game. If you create a game in the lobby (with or without password) that game will be permanent after 5min in-game (not sure if exactly 5). So if you die or you want to try with another char or invite your friend or whatever, you can just log back to that game. In short, go to the lobby, create a password protected game and then play for a few minutes (do some mf or something) then open your uber portal.

it is. but also has a timer. best example is uber diablo (drops anni). you can regular swing with a prevent heal weapon on a sorc. might take a few to land, but it will. and you can kill with a sorc. but you only have like 5 minutes and than the prevent heal wears off. no indication besides them getting health back. so you kinda have to trust it i suppose. one thing i like to do for my sorc weapon is socket it and throw a emerald in it so when it finally does proc(land) you have a visual green! still wont help you know how long the effect is lasting. but yar.. prevent heal! also, uber tristram is rough the first few times anybody or any grop does it. but it does get easier.

Sin full mosaics i was able to kick all the minor ans baal and diablo within 10 seconds. Easy with 350% life&mana leech. Then mephisto… caught me with his 0% drain effectiveness. Now its life tap for him

Been playing since d2 came out and haven't ever done ubers. Farmed a 3x3 was too scared to try it ended up trading a 4x4 for a Torch and it rolled 18/18 barb not what I wanted haha

Tips for barbs Grief / Botd + rare dual leech rings can get you to reaching over 40% lifesteal making your lifebar never fall below 90% regardless whether lifetap activates or not.

Nope. ITD only works on regular monsters and minion monsters. ITD is not applied to champions, uniques, super uniques, and bosses, and of course that includes the ubers.

Where you can get the maximum number of champion packs is where your odds of dropping Full Rejuv are best. Ancient's Way near the Icy Cellar entrance, Frozen Tundra near Ancient's Way entrance are 2 easy spots. Tower act 1 also good

In theory it should work, so it may be that your build is not strong enough yet. Someone mentioned in another comment that with a blizz sorc you need gg equipment to even have a chance.

Yes I agree. I lost my HC SSF blizz sorc today attempting Uber. I got meph down as first one and the dia but could barely do it, and baal ended up killing me after many hours of playing. I had CTA 5 shako and tal arm. Primary was spirit CS and spirit monarch. Only 1 cold skiller. I simply couldn’t damage Baal enough

I did this on single player with Exile and smite. My paladin was just a FoHer, not even respec. It was so easy. This game is very imbalanced because I'm pretty sure none of my other characters could have come close to killing the guys in Tristram.

I've done ubers with smiter, fire ball hydra meteor sorc, and nova sorc. both sorcs outpaced the smiter and was very very easy just slap a belt of juves on and you're good! my personal preference is nova sorc 🎉

I have a different pally build. Max conviction max zeal. My gg gear plan is dragon shield, enigma, Destruction weapon, Gaze helm, verdungo belt, laying of hands gloves, war traveler boots, 2x wedding and atmas for AD. Just need advice on whether this loadout will be good enough for ubers. I have extra points and am thinking instead of synergizing zeal i could combo into smite. But if theres enough points i could do both. Generally speaking, would a smiting convict do well with ubers specifically with my gear plans? Ive got prolly 50% of what i listed so far.

It was a creative and entertaining proof of concept that it can be done with pretty crappy gear (for Uber standards) with a functional strategy. But it was painful to watch, many deaths, many potion stacks drop beforehand, many back and forth getting Revives to aggro Meph or Poison the others... and he was constantly on the verge of dying drinking potions like a madman and tele in / out of death traps.
