Great video ! I think I already got the basic information from you but the part about enabling workspaces was useful ! I put my kasm on a proxmox container. This spins up much faster than a vm. Am looking forward to the cloudflare tunnels episode 🙂

How did you setup the swap partition for the proxmox lxc container? Or did you pass the --no-swap-check flag to the installation command?

The privacy aspect of kasm is really compelling but i can seem to get protonvpn to work with it. Can you make a video on how to route kasm brave through gluetun?

I have notice that Discord does not work on kasm Workspaces can you make a video showing us how to make it work and also how to setup nextcloud and access out side the network using cloudflare thanks

CloudFlare tunnels is definitely coming in a video about Kasm. And I'm glad you brought up the Discord issue. I ran into it recently and found a workaround that I will definitely share in an upcoming video.

Wondering if anyone else is having the error not enough disk space. I'm trying to run this in ubuntu on virtualbox. have hard drive set to 130gb. followed every step but keeps saying not enough disk space

Having the same. I chose 100GB storage and get a message "Not enough disk space for the installation - Please free up disk space or use -I to not preseed images"

I ran kasm a few months ago for the same reasons as you…..have you noticed with discord that it loops asking for downloading update, have tried constantly with no luck..thoughts?

@@JosipDzigumovic-b5i I cannot. I've got a pretty robust network solution that gives me a ton of data. Your system may not provide that data. it should just be the IP address of the server your SSHed into to do the install

Great video - It tells me the swap exist. But then the install stops with 'Not enough disk space - Please free up disk space or use -I to not preseed images. I have 100GB disk so there shouldn't be any problems. Any ideas?

I would suggest using the option to not preseed the images. The full list of preseeded image will take up more than 200GB of hard drive space.

@@DBTechYT apparently you have to change the data/root folder of docker to /mnt/docker to create space and proceeding with the installation. But I haven't got a clue how to achieve that!

You say 22.04 but you download 20.04 in the video. However in your local storage you have a 22.04 iso. Is the naming not accurate in pveam? 22.04 is only available as a .tar.zst. Did u manually upload the 22.04 iso in proxmox? Is so why do you need pveam?

That all depends on how many users you'll have and what they'll be doing.

Is it possible to run Kasm Workspaces in a Proxmox LXC Container? I've tried it using a privileged ubuntu-22.04 LXC Container with nesting enabled, but I get the following Error message from docker when running the Installation Script: Error response from daemon: AppArmor enabled on system but the docker-default profile could not be loaded: running `/usr/sbin/apparmor_parser apparmor_parser -Kr /var/lib/docker/tmp/docker-default4060452252` failed with output: apparmor_parser: Unable to replace "docker-default". Permission denied; attempted to load a profile while confined? error: exit status 243

​@@DBTechYT Alright, I've got it working by following your Video, but I've got two Questions. 1. How can I remove the Expiration time of a session? I've tried setting session_time_limit of both default groups to 0, but it's still 60 Minutes. 2. How will I go about not installing every default Workspace to save up some disk space? For Example, I just want to have a few to be downloaded (e.g. Firefox, Chrome, Ubuntu Focal)
