This arc actually shows how truly good Z fighters are including Krilin. They arrived on namek with really low power level and just by clashing with Frieza soldiers and Frieza himself, they all ended up with massive power gain even with a kid like Gohan and a human like Krilin hitting the millions. Excluding Yamcha, they definitely are the best fighting team on the universe. They can basically beat anyone with training

Krillin being that strong never made sense to me. I mean he's an earthling and they don't get Zenkai boosts like the saiyans so he should have stayed around the same power that he was after Guru unlocked his potential which would be around 20,000 or so. Vegeta stated that Krillin wasn't quite as strong as Zarbon who was 23,000 in his base form. And remember from the Ginyu force arriving to the end of the Fight with Frieza was literally only a couple hours at best

Agree to disagree and I respect other peoples opinion as long as they return the favor but my point of veiw from it all is a little different. I've watched DBZ for along time but the one thing I wanted to know is exactly how many times stronger did Goku become after turing into Super Saiyan? I've used the manga and simple math to figure it out. According to the Managa at the end Frieza's Fighting power was 120.000.000 so if you divide it by 100 his Base is 1.200.000.. Thats how I know the Super Saiyan multiplier is 100 fold not 50 because Frieza was the one who set that measuring bar. Another clue is if you take managa Goku's fighting power 150.000.000 divide it by 100 it's 1.500.000. So in the beginning its no wonder frieza had to summoned half of his maximum it was 60.000.00. Goku's based pales combare to that Even with the Kaioken x20 Goku only raised his powerlevel to 30.000.000 and remember the thing about Kaioken is after you use it your powerlevel goes back to normal because it's a technique not a transformation. Another thing to think about is the battle damage inflicted on eachother. I've noticed the fight shows that Goku's a smarter fighter than Frieza cause unlike him the 1st reason is Goku could sense ki. Another is Goku could read minds only if he makes physical contact. So he knew about Frieza's true intentions about not caring about the innocent blood he spilled even wanting to kill Goku. The last thing I've notived is Goku even knew about Frieza's weakness after going all out. Frieza may of gotten the jump on Goku after going all out but all Goku had to do was avoid him get some shots in and wear him out because not only did becoming a Super Saiyan made Goku more powerful but also awhole lot tougher. Another thing to keep in mind is the longer a Saiyan fights the stronger he becomes not just from near death experiences either! so yeah I believe Goku's fighting power was rising after he transformed and eventually peaked until he heals trains and fights again

1. Frieza having a power level of 120,000,000 was never stated in the Manga, it was stated in the Daizenshuu, which also stated Base Goku had a power level of 3,000,000. 2. I’m assuming you dividing both powers by 100 is referencing Frieza saying he was using 1% of his power against Vegeta, but that quote comes from the anime’s english dub, which the Daizenshuu doesn’t take into account. It also makes the gap between Second and Fourth Form Frieza tiny. 3. Kaio-ken reverting your power back to normal is quite literally the same thing Super Saiyan does. 4. Goku reading Frieza’s mind is unsupported headcanon. 5. Toriyama implied in an interview that Saiyans could only get stronger from fighting if their opponent was stronger than them.

Official power levels aren’t always believable ones. According to the Daizenshuu, Prime King Piccolo had a Power Level of 260, but in the anime and manga, Tien was stronger than Piccolo and had a power level of 250.
