Sweet! They look almost identical to my Sundown X12z!!! They take two and a half cubes per sub! I like the fact those have smaller airspace! 😊 I'm really wanting to hear them now! 😁 They look like they can slap as well! 😁💪🔊🔊🔊

I got a dc audio level 3 12" on 1200 watt at 1 ohm and a 1.75 cubic box tuned to 36 hz and it sounds like a 15 love it

That’s a Bad azz sub to perform better in a smaller enclosure. You kinda got me fooled a lil bit with the SFB. Everything else you buy is top notch an installed to perfection so do you plan on upgrading later or just cause u limited on space?? I think a DC 9k would be sick!! Perfect match for them subs also.

I am limited on space tremendously if you see the space in my build I’m working on, but these amps get a lot of hate because People don’t understand them, or they run them improperly. Everyone I personally know that run them don’t have a single issue with them. If You hear negative, it’s because people typically only post stuff when there is a problem or when things go wrong. Muting the plethora of people that run them without any complaints

Are you running an isolator between your d3400 n those d4s ltos, or just straight?

I love the baskets on those, very sexy. In my opinion a sub just short of 100 lbs should be shipped in a wood box. Especially for the price of them. UPS and fed ex don't usually give a damn

If going D4S LTO, I’d do a big under hood AGM for reserve. Or, you can also go the under hood super cap replacement route like I did with my hummer

Not disappointed at all because I’m running them right with proper electrical and not clipping. High 13’s full tilt. Only bad things I’ve heard on these batteries are from people that don’t know what they are doing.

@@NextLevelCarAudio I have a xs power d3400 in parallel with two of the down 4 sound lto but I have insulator between the agm and lithium is not needed because I drop to 13.4 at time playing full tilt on smart 5k

I have a sfb 3k and to me it doesn't sound good. Was there any particular reason you chose that amp over a crescendo full bridge or comparable half bridge 8k? Surely it wasn't based on cost as everything else you are putting into this build is high dollar.

I’ve heard these in person, a 5k and also a 8k. Both sounded great. These are not SQ amps, but for a powerhouse to push subs I have zero complaints bring what I’ve heard. Most people I hear that don’t like them either are not running them properly, have to high of input voltage going in, not enough electrical support, Gain to high, ohms to low, etc. if you run them and treat them right, they will return the favor.

Absolutely! 3” coil vs 2.5” and handles over 3k rms clean power. Plus takes only 1.5cf compared to 2.5 for the X

People that don't know what they are doing in car audio are the reason why such things are said. Such as parkers video. Nobody should ever play a sine wave for that long or really ever. What is the point and what does that even prove? And Jp products are top notch. Again, it's People that make mistakes with electrical and not the equipments fault

I think it’s worth it 100%. I cannot believe how these perform in such small enclosures. I’ve had ZV5’s and many other big boy subs. And nothing performs like these do. Just wait till I post demo videos

You should really invest in at least a decent microphone for your videos. Your audio as way under baseline. Having a tripod would take your videos to another level too. Much better than the ‘one arm shuffle’ you’re attempting now. Enjoy your content; want it to be the best it can be.

Love your videos but this needs to be said about these subs befor people spend there hard earned money and watch it go down the drain.Watch Parker the basshead he has a video icalled "is a $1000 subwoofer worth it" this sub was tested and the subwoofer blew out at RMS power the coil could not handle.multiple subwoofers were tested this way and survived the test like the apocalypse death bounce 3012r half the price The subwoofers were put to the same test for five minutes at 40hz.and on top of that he did it on free air which is even harder on the subwoofer and the 3012r passed the test the same as the American basS.he also did it with the sundown Xv3 and that sub is 2000rms n cost half the price.so dcaudio level 5 it's a nice sub it's not worth $1000.you can get any of the 2 mentioned for half the price n not worry about it blowing out. Even the American bass Xmaxx monster was a beast n took the brutal test and survived. Watch the video proof is in the test.

Not a waste of money dude. Worth every Penny. My income is passive from investments, so no “hard earned money” was spent lol. I know plenty of people in the lanes and in the car Audio scene that run this to the max and have zero issues over powering them. Parker’s tests are retarded because they are completely inapplicable unless you plan on listening to sine waves as you bump through town lol. None of the subs you mentioned are even in the Same league…. Plus the level 5 is the ONLY one that takes half the air space of a comparable sub. Which is also why it blew early. Because box was too big for the subs specs. These are designed for tiny boxes. X series takes double the airspace, so in that same enclosure that was used for the test, the DC was basically free airing in there. DC audio have a massive following and reputation for quality and performance. I trust the dc brand 1000 times over than some idiot running a sine wave through subs to judge if they are good or not. I’m extremely happy with my setup, and that’s all that should matter. You go buy what you want, and I buy what I want.
