But in reality jason had on an antiprojectile jacket that saved his life, and from that moment he passed a whole year in the asylum with joker and harley torturing him every day and every night non stop, and Batman (thinking he was dead from the gun shot) never tried to look around for him. Then after a year joker paid Slade to bring him out, but Jason knowing that slade follow only money and not orders paid him more to turn against batman and also joker. From now on he become the Arkham Knight.
