Rob I don't know if you'll ever see this, but I've been watching your videos for yearrs it's what got me into comics. Watching your channel evolve over the years have been so cool. And I like to come back to these videos sometimes not just to hear the stories again, but to get some of that vintage comics explained gold. +Brandon Worron Well, think of it this way: Green Lantern Power works off of willpower. If you sleep, you aren't exactly exerting your willpower. Thus, it behooves you to have safety measures in place for long-distance travelling. :)

Believe it or not, Geoff Johns actually ruined Hal Jordan by retconing him to be possessed by Parallax during "Emerald Twilight". That storyline turned me into a DC fan and a lifetime fan of Hal Jordan. His dynamic of being so broken by the guilt and loss over Coast City's destruction made him a very realistic, sympathetic and interesting character. Johns is a great writer but he ruined a few characters. Most notably Hal Jordan, Conner Kent/Superboy and Bart Allen.

GSSAGE7 Yeah for one episode. Then he had a few cameos in the Justice League cartoon and that was it. John at least had a chance to shine in arguably the best Justice League incarnation, and Hal is obviously the Green Lantern poster boy. Kyle on the other hand has literally been swept under the rug. Even Guy Gardner gets more love in other media than Kyle.

even though the first green lantern i was introduced was john stewart i think hal jordan is THE GREEN LANTERN cuz of the animated movies, his role is dc universe and i even liked the green lantern movie. ryan reynolds did a fair job playing him but now when we're in era of dccu i think this character deserves a big name to portray him. my picks have always been bradley cooper or jake gyllenhaal

Before Geoff Johns and his giant fear bug Hal Fans were saying it was because Hal was tricked into wearing a ring of a villian named Lord Malvolio. Lord Malvolio was able to create illusions like a yellow space station which his ring could effect and tricked Hal into donning Lord Malvolio's ring and that was the ring (NOT a genuine GL ring) that Hal was wearing when he went nuts.

Hal Jordan is the cool of all the Green Lantern .He is complex like Batman ,And when he came back into being a Green Lantern again .He and batman almost went at it .Then in the JL team up from the new 52 .Before the team was formed .
