It's so incredibly inspiring watching you guys fly along like that. I just got a wheel during the week, and on day 1 I held someone's hand. Day 2 I let go and wobbled along on my own. Today I learned to mount alone, go around corners, do some turns and go up and down hills and tackle a dirt road. I'm approaching 50 and I'm having a ball trying to master this wheel thing!!

I tried, my Friend. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I've been to England to and have ridden with some of the PEV guys and trust and believe, they are not banned because of any bad influences from the west or hazards imposed by reckless riding. If you are referring to the Sherman's plate in the video, no he did not register his EUC. It's just a cool accessory. No different from bicycle plates that people can purchase to personalize them.

They are personally made by the riders themselves. Amazon sells them. They are just regular light strips. I actually have an old video modifying a helmet with lights and animation eyes for the visor. I believe in the description box of the video I have the links or I may have possibly incorporated the info inside the video.

Hey there Real Talk.., as far as the clan upgraded., most have purchased Sherms; however, the vast majority still are loyal to either Kings Songs, InMotion and or Gotway/Begode. Now you already know, I don't like making predictions on any wheel not in circulation just so I can save face because specs are not always what they REALLY are once everything is said and done. I will however, hedge my bet on the Commander, but then again, I am biased somewhat to speed and we know King Songs at this time will not brake ranks and build a wheel that goes as fast as the likes of Gotway/Begode or Sherms. In a nutshell, it is all in what each of us want in a wheel. Reliability, Speed, Performance? Unfortunately, neither offer us all three. So if I have to choose, two out of three ain't so bad, which equates to the Commander. I say this because according to what is being said about the Commander, it is very impressive on paper, but it still cannot out pace the M-Pro. :)

What wound up happening was I did not adjust my settings on my camera as I'm usually shooting video earlier in the day and since this was during dusk, my camera was struggling to compensate for the lack of light. I've since adjusted the settings.

Enjoyed the video. I used to take an URBE scooter into DC, and enjoyed it greatly. But the ECU takes it to a whole different level, it looks like. Does DC have speed limits for them? I believe VA is 20-25 mph, can ride anywhere but interstates. With all the speed cameras and parking BS in DC, I can see some major benefits, baring crappy weather, and given metro's sad state. Ride safe!

I'm well aware an EUC is not a "motor" vehicle and I did not refer to it as such. I referenced it as a motorized vehicle which technically it is although it is not defined as such for law purposes. The definition of a vehicle is "a thing used for transporting people or goods, especially on land" and it is motorized. But that's neither here nor there. Also, what official code does AD604 fall under? You are aware each state/ jurisdiction has the ability to implement certain laws as they see fit? Just like I stated earlier., some jurisdictions will allow for a.., Personal Mobility Device.., EUC, Electric Bike., etc., to proceed through a red light with caution and some jurisdictions don't allow for it. In DC a Mobility Device can overtake a vehicle., which we did in the video. Also, DC is looking into the Utah law as it pertains to proceeding through red lights with caution, so the laws pertaining to such are laxed here, wherein in other jurisdictions this is a no-no.

It is only a matter of time. Some old resident in those quiet beautiful neighborhoods will file a complaint “rebels in black and lights all over their bodies are driving around our area like mad men”. Laws are created by squeaky wheels. Unfortunately we are not like motorcycles or cars, if a group of those vehicles went through like that, people would complain but they would not ban the vehicles. EUC do not really exist so banning them would not be a big deal. I hope I am wrong as I want more people to ride but I think if we push the limits the hammer will come down. It may not happen in your state/province right away but as we say in JA people like to “Falla fashion”

Each jurisdiction are different in how they approach their laws for motorized vehicles and what DC does will not affect another state law as it pertains to EUC riding. Some jurisdictions will allow for cyclist to go through red lights as long as it is safe to do so while others don't. Every stop sign and or light that was captured in this video, there were no cars approaching nor did we cut off any cars. There was one truck stopped for a period of time at a stop sign as we approached and we went around it. The driver was speaking on a cell phone and instead of pulling over, sat at the stop sign. I get it when folks are sitting on the sidelines it does come across as bogus moves, but trust and believe, whenever we blow a stop sign., although we are supposed to come to a complete stop and then proceed, there are no opposing cars that are cut off. Also, motorist blow stop signs every single day. There are few and far motorist that actually will come to a complete stop at stop signs; however, when an EUC does it, it's cause for the alarms to sound that moves like that are going to make it bad for everyone. I do thank you for sharing your thoughts and opinion on the matter and I will definitely ride safe. :)

Exacly, blowing through stop signs and intersections gives us a bad name. The first time a kid gets gets smoked in a crosswalk by an euc at 40mph they will be banned

@@noelleonard2498 If blowing through stop signs and intersections that are isolated or have no opposing vehicles and or pedestrians., what is the harm and or foul? Heck, you'd be hard pressed to find a POV that don't come to a complete stop at a stop sign. But that's neither here nor there. I get it, optically our rides leaves a lot to be desired; however, we do stop at busy intersections and where there is little to no cars and or pedestrians, yes.., we do go through intersections when it is safe to do so. Although we have universal laws in the US, each jurisdiction enforce them differently. Some jurisdictions will allow cyclist to go through a stop light and the like if it is safe to do so while others do not. So again, what we do here will have no bearings whatsoever what will go on where you live. If anything, we will make it bad for ourselves. But thank you nonetheless for sharing you thoughts and opinion on the matter.
