I prefer this way of depicting same sex couples. In the older ways, films and tv shows tended to illustrate how deep and severe the discrimination was. In contrast, these days tv shows are drawing this love as something ubiquitous (this love is normal there is NOT THING DEVIANT WITH IT). Therefore, Kids are being exposed to the truth that there are gender and sexual tendency, and these two subjects have nothing to do with the other, since they're independent and distinctive! Wynnona Earp, Legends of tomorrow and most recent "Mother Land: Fort Salem" are representing this love with the latter. I just awfully hope that people could be less nosy, mean, and stop being fussy about others' business! In my country, whenever there are some gay couples passing by, there always are a couple of people staring at them and talking at their backs in ways that are petrifying and offensive. It makes my heart can stop hollering at them from the inside!
