Poor Daphne. I hate that she had to go out this way. Daphne is a phenomenal dancer coming from UCLA Spirit Team one of the top college teams. Its really sad. ACL injuries are usually one of the most difficult injuries to come back from. It has ended so many careers. I hope Daphne is able to come back but personally I think she should've taken this season off. She was obviously not 100% and it showed. I don't think Kelli and Judy would've had a problem with her taking the season off. Daphne should've taken this season off. Get better and come back next year and blow everyone out of the water. Now she might be gone permanent. Just sad cause I saw Daphne was a future group leader and maybe even point.

If Daphne hasn't had surgery on her right knee then it is possible that she was overworking the left one to compensate and in a intense environment like TC it is no wonder that her body would give out ... It is very sad for her she is a gorgeous and talented dancer. Hope to see her next year !

I love DCC so much and think they are the best at everything they do but as a life long competitive cheerleader I think of them as a dance team rather then a cheer team so I really appreciate that they point out Evan miller’s competitive cheer experiences and how it makes him more precise and powerful. And I love love love that moment when they highlight that wide second split because I actually remember him hitting that motion in that episode and thinking ok that was soooo cheer and I’m here for it. I love when they show the girls tumbling too. I just wish NFL cheerleaders still did stunts.

Outstanding show!!! I'm an alumni NFL cheerleader I'm in my mid 50s this is nothing new because we did the same stretched style back in the early 1990s the choreographer that we had he danced on Broadway and also he did some choreography with the Rockettes so when she was demonstrating the stretch. she said that was her Secret very interesting because we did the same leg stretch up against the wall when I was at NFL cheerleader back in the early 1990s.

The ACL can be a career ending injury. Not so much for a younger player or cheerleader but an older one might not come back from it. Even then the knee is never quite as good as it once was. I remember when Michael Irvin went down with that neck injury in Philadelphia and he came to the point where he had to wonder if it was worth it to play anymore. Daphne might be facing the same thing. If she injures either one of her knees a second time it could be far worse for her in the long run.
