Im sad this movie didnt do so great in box office becuz i enjoyed this movie a lot. This scene especially was brutally awesome. Becuz normally most of these hero transformations, the hero is usually alone and when they go out uncontrollably, no one knows whats going on. I like that his family is experiencing this chaotic transformation

My main reason is because Blue Beetle is one of those characters that most people haven't heard of unless you're a die hard DC fan. I work at a movie theater and we wore work issued Blue Beetle shirts to promote the movie encourage people to see it

One detail I like here is how the nanotechnology of the suit really does come across as alien and a bit different from the way such effects are commonly visualized in CG heavy movies today. It's weird and off-putting when constructing things, the product of non-human aesthetic sensibilities.

I think that since after the Endgame wavering quality of marvel shows and the amount of bad DC movies thats been put out people have become tired of superhero movies and simply wait until they can watch them at home. Cinema tickets have also gotten way more expensive and the inflation is rising so people arnt willing to spend money on cinema anymore. TVs at home and projectors have also become more affordable than ever so thats also a reason why i think alot of people are watching at home now on their 65 - 85 inch TVs

Actually one of the best super hero movies I've seen in a while. Since Shang-Chi. I'm excluding NWH because while i love it, it's carried by fan service. I didn't really enjoy Batman (other than the well done interrogation scene, the movie's lowly saturated atmosphere put me to sleep). This movie was filled to the brim with imaginative creativity and emotion and campiness.
