At around hr 50 mark, the question of why did riven not wish the witness away; obviously because story but, i think there are two reasons; one, may be a limitation of rivens powers/wishes, and, hear me out, i think there is something more to the wish than riven n savathun lead on. Maybe just simply wishing the witness away or something, would go against their alterior motives ya know? Think like doctor strange in infinty war. I dont think strange only saw one reality where the avengers win; i think he found the only one where he makes it out alive (or maybe cristine makes it idk lol) So, there were more realities where they could win but it wasnt one strange wanted to do Alterior motives

I honestly don't know why it's considered conspiratorial or blasphemous that a LIVE SERVICE game implements features and quest design and the like to keep the player engaged. And it's not too far-fetched to think that that engagement is monitored or measured. I imagine minute details in how that engagement is retained, whether it be by getting the player to go here or there and beat this boss or that boss is par for the course based on numerous psychological studies. The core of most (if not all) live service IS ENGAGMENT and as it is acknowledged in the video, sustaining such a model long term is quite difficult. I don't think it's outrageous to say that perhaps Destiny has already reached its peak and either it's a downward spiral from here or perhaps another plateau it can reach, which would require some serious reinvention and innovation.

Omg that part w the oracles was so bad. I enjoyed going to the places, but it took way too long. The dreaming city is such a wasted potential. It’s such beautiful location.

Reusing old missions from the Dreaming City was a bad move. The oracle engine mission wasn’t even modified for the current season content.

Destiny was 100% a better Game when it was Dlc based . When you got huge content once a year. They less pressure, less cost , on Bungie. More time to come up with better content. They should take all the seasonal content. And they should have just made the yearly DLC that much Bigger.

I also remember the player base CONSTANTY complaining about not having anything to do between those long intervals between DLCs. However, that said, it's a different time than now where, as opposed to the time Destiny was still something of a novelty without much competition, one has many other options to partake. However, returning to that DLC-based model still carries with it some pressure regarding getting enough player attention/interest from the competition. Let alone maintaining player retention.
