"Started From The Bottom" sounds like it's about growing up poor when you view it through a 90's lens. But really, it's just about starting from the bottom in the music industry, going from no one caring that you wrote songs, to everyone wanting to be your friend, and just remembering all of that. "Worst Behavior" is in the same thread. It's about how people will doubt you & ignore you one second, and then instantly think you're the man the next.

The bottom doesn't necessarily have to mean money wise, even though this could be the bottom compared to where he is now. But by "the bottom" it could also mean the journey taken to reach where he is at today. He started by filling notebooks with lyrics as a teen and now his music is heard all over the world.
